 DJ rresto, known to his family and friends as Walter Torres, began producing and remixing songs at  age 16 in his home studio in Queens NY, with the likes of Roger Sanchez "The S Man, TKA, Noel, Corina, Judy Torres, George Lamond, ". In the 80's Dj rresto formely known as  Dj Guayo was a regular in the New York Dance scene , playing such venues as  Danceteria,  Studio 54, Roseland, Latin Quarters, Fun House, Underground, and other notable clubs.
