Bambe, the new label run by Parisian artist Bambounou, presents its second installment ‘Final Conference’ featuring 3 collaborations between the label head and Bristol producer https://soundcloud.com/iambruce, known for his deconstructed club cuts on Hessle Audio, Timedance and Hemlock Records. This is Bruce and Bambounou’s first time working together, expect detailed hypnotic rhythms with a postmodern edge.

Bambe is a passion project of Bambounou and follows the release of the well received ‘Cascade’ EP. The imprint is a space created for talent from diverse backgrounds coming together to use art and technology to create expansive musical experiences.

Paryìa label head Marie Montexier comes up with the third instalment on her imprint.

After kicking off the label with records by a.b.u.3.0.3. and Small Crab, Marie is having the Vancouver based acidic specialist Overland, who delivers three cutting-edge dance floor tracks that showcase her rich and versatile fusion of classic acid techno patterns and distinctive bass music rhythms.

Rounding off the record, Marie Montexier adds a remix from the Chicago based up-and-comers Purelink. In contrast to Overland’s dark, fast, and bassy sound, Purelink re-arranged a trippy downtempo version of ‘Paloma’, resolving in the delicate, yet deliberate, chillout ecstasy, they are best known for.

RDS plumbs the depths of analogue texture on his Kalahari debut proper. Following a guest appearance on Eversines’ ‘Plooi’ EP, the Amsterdam artist returns to explore the more expansive integers of his hi-tech sound across four deftly crafted tracks.It's exactly the sort of enveloping, sophisticated material we’ve come to expect from a De Lichting member.

Straight deep space manoeuvres on the opener. Setting billowing widescreen pads against solid, tight groove, ‘2312’ feels as if it’s escaping the eye of some turbulent solar event. Then, landing with a sensitivity absent from the harsh climes of its predecessor, ‘BBsuite’ leaps from translunar to tenderness with dappled keys and lithe breakbeat intricacy. Saying that, there’s still something undeniably explorative and sc-fi in its mood, almost reminiscent of Orbital or Future Sound of London.

There’s more refined deepness on the flip, starting with ‘Silky’s supple, slinky flex. Forlorn, exquisitely widescreen ambient techno, it treads between the warm optimism of early Detroit modes and a certain somber melancholia. And finally, ‘Autechrein’ finds RDS smudging his palette on a dusty, downtempo overhaul of the after-hours formula.

When I Record Something, Let's See How I Can Edit My Voice

"Choral Feeling started with the idea to encourage people to sing more and let their voice out. Over the last few decades, I feel that singing is disappearing from western cultures. I believe everyone with a voice is able to sing, only fear inhibits us from doing so. From this idea, I asked friends to sing for me. Over the course of a few months, I either sang together with them and recorded their voices or they would send me voice messages. Almost all the sounds you hear on this album, from front vocals to small percussion, are made from these recordings. Choral Feeling is the energy that arises when one sings, especially when done as part of a group. It harmonises wavelengths and energies in minds and bodies." - @oceanicocean

Five years since his last solo outing, Pev makes a very welcome return on his own label for Livity Sound's 60th release.

Having focused on expanding the innovative scope of Livity through a prolific release schedule, frequent label nights and the 10th anniversary Molten Mirrors compilation, on the 'Pulse E.P.', Pev delivers on his reputation for inventive, sharply-focused club music with four lean, focused club tracks across the tempo range.

From the crooked formation and pointillist bleeps of ‘Pulse I’ through the light-footed percussion and airy melodies of ‘Pulse II’ to ‘Pulse III’s strafing techno synths and ‘Pulse IV’s surefooted, bass-loaded house jack, it’s an EP of variation and consistency in equal measure. From the infectious, alien melodic lines to the elegant angles of the drums, not to mention the weighty subs, it’s all strikingly fresh and unmistakably Pev.

Planet Euphorique is bringing you it's first compilation, "Tiny Planet Vol.1"! 
Don't be deceived, these four tracks are major - and sounding out to the wider universe. 

Kicking off with 'Killer DJs' (two Canadian VIPs Big Zen & Dust e-1) and their "Untitled" anthem, a cosmic late night mirage, just out of reach. Throbbing low end and hypnotic atmospherics to get you lost in the smoke. DJ Donini steps up for the A2, taking you to a subsonic, dubbed out underwater acropolis, known as "Donini's Dream". Marching rhythmic militance met with tripped out euphoria. On the flip, we head to Seattle with two tru heads teaming up on the B1. CCL & Flora FM's "Liquify Interference" a propelling dance-floor refreshment; spacial, clanging drums begging you to raise your hands in the air, whilst the swirling melodics raise your consciousness. Wrapping up the compilation is Vancouver's SMP with "Natty Bop". A naughty, percussive wobbler which hits in all the right places, clanging one-shots and shuffling drums draped over dripping sub bass to provide sublime push and pull.
