Just in time for your journey out to the Easter doofs, @rxexx joins the series with an otherworldly mix, live from the @generalmerchant rave.

You entered the tunnel under the bridge & sheer fabric spanned the whole width of the space, lit up with green psychedelic projections so all you could see of the dj was a dark silhouette moving in the distance. RXEX was weaving through wiggy, sludgy sounds, d&b, bush trance & heady polyrhythms. Dive in for a particularly squelchy time.

Prolifique, il est membre du collectif Exocet et prend part au projet Lost Area, plateforme versatile proposant des travaux visuels sur fond de dub techno.

Soft Focus - Mary B Invite Stellah Maris (13.04.23)

Off The Record this month takes a dive into the mind of Chicago artist and musician Beau Wanzer. 
Wanzer is commonly known for records on Ron Morelli's L.I.E.S. imprint as well as working with labels like Brew, L.A. Club Resource, iDEAL, Natural Sciences, and Nation. His in touch ear with industrial, electro and experimental music has seen him work alongside the likes Traxx and Steve Summers as the excellent Mutant Beat Dance, Dan Jugle as the head banging Juzer and more recently De-Bons-en-Pierre with Maoupa Mazzocchetti. 
For this mix Wanzer goes no holds bared into the world of tape culture with noisey and hissing electro and synth tunes as well as some chuggy industrial moments. We had a quick chat with Beau about the mix and what he has coming up!

This is the follow up the 2021 ALCHEMULATOR – “LARPING AT FAIRSNAKE HAMLET” album that was released on Hunger! records.  The sound goes in a bit of a different direction, the cheap digital FM  homekeyboard is replaced with simple FM synths, old “obsolete’ samplers and some other stuff.  There are a lot of vocals, I would describe them as synthesizer ballads…or hauntological hypnogogic synthesizer folk songs???…..a bit of devotional psychedelic spacejazz influence…you can find the lyrics behind the tracks on bandcamp. It is pay what you want so anything you can miss is welcome. Please spread the word and enjoy 🙂

The Berlin-based producer, DJ and composer is set to return to Krake Festival on Saturday, June 24th for a live performance at the Ambient Garden at About Blank. Glad to announce a new mix from Hunay Saday. To be introduced by her own words. 
"Within this mix, I managed to include nearly 3-4 different genres that bring me great pleasure while mixing, particularly percussion - reminiscent of the ones I used to hear at weddings in Azerbaijan when I was a kid. I now listen to them differently since electronic music became involved, but the feeling is the same, or sometimes even greater. It's been 12 years since my departure from my home country, and my dreams, the films I make, as well as these kinds of mixes, are the only way for me to travel back there, to my childhood memories."
