Sunsoft music is probably one of my most favorite NES music composers, they didn't just use the DMC channel for drums. It really gave the music another bit of depth to it, no pun intended.

Working on the cover album has been super fun, and this songs was the 5th one I decided to work on! Making the little solo in one of the bridges was really cool to arrange. I might post about 3 more songs before the album comes out, too!

Honestly, I feel really iffy about how this one turned out. I prefer my Dealing With A Devil cover by a long shot, especially since that one took only a day to start and finish while this one was a bit of a challenge. I feel like that one was also a bit more inspired creativity-wise.
Oh well, at least I've finally started to figure out how to use sidechaining as a mixing tool

FamiTALE - Death By Sunsoft (Bonus Track)

This was made entirely with the Star Fox SNES soundfont except for the cymbals.
It goes a bit beyond the SNES's capabilities, with more than eight channels and some reverb used!

Divine Bloodlines (FM)

This song was made with the sounds of the Yamaha PSS-100 only. It's a small square wave toy keyboard with a voice variator and a digital recorder. It was released in 1989.
I've used the original and sampled versions of the sounds, together with eq, delay and reverb.
