RRYGULAR presents the Distale's „Dr. Belusa EP“ in it's raw and pure musical form. Following the artist's attitude „no info, just music“ we let both tracks speak for themselves. Reduced to the essential ingredients of Techno, but energy loaded and uncompromising like a space weapon.

Techno is always a good idea. Alexander Franz is a freshman in RRYGULAR's artist pool and he brings a rough, dark and extremely driving 3-track debut release named „Kratzbombe EP“. „Droplutscher“ shows, Alexander grew up with the big names of  the huge RAVE events on his headphones. The title track „Kratzbombe“ is marching on and drills the listener repeatedly with snare rolls. And also with „Tapelover“ the energy remains on that high and intense level. From start to finish, this is a consistent release with three tools for everyone who likes it a little bit harder.

The year is 2014, clubs are drowning in melodic Techhouse and dreamy Vocal Deephouse  an unbareable state for early pensioner Marek Bois.
In 2008 Marek had said everything he needed to with his last album "Boissche Untiefen". His mission to send thouroughly honest, reduced Minimal Techno into the rave world had been completed. Withdrawn from the world, he turned to new projects, like producing organic goat milk products and working on hooklines for one man boygroups with bass problems, like Dapayk Solo or Kokoschka.
Marek's new album "UBERBOIS" is the answer to the question: "Can you play something by Paul Kalkbrenner?", if you don't just want to say: "NO!". It's a "YES!" to the question: "Do you remember Minimal?" if you don't just want to hint at Berghain, because they're funny at the door. "UBERBOIS" is not for girls with painted on catfaces and boys without beard growth, it is an album filled with tools for moments where fluffy Dream House is uncalled for and Gabber Techno is just too dull.

In 2014 Kleinschmager Audio took a short break in their release schedule. Now, they are back again with „Grown In“ and present not only the usual and well-functioning Minimal style. They also head over to the analog Dub world with a special regional souvenir named „Audio Four“. In addition the title track received a proper remix treatment by Marek Bois, that is put first on this release.

Daniel Trabold debuts on RRYGULAR with his „Friedenstein EP“. Remix support comes from two experienced label acts. The EP starts with a dub techno interpretation by Kleinschmager Audio followed by Marek Bois who feels more like  wielding the Techno cudgel. Understatement or not, the third and final track on the EP is „Karl“ in its original version by Daniel Trabold. The track soars around: straight forward, energetic and mesmerizing. Techno works and it shows Daniel's long experience in the clubs, whether as a DJ, producer or booker.

Mac-Kee is a pioneer of the early East German Techno scene. We followed his gigs and parties already in the mid-1990s. Consequently, we were absolutely delighted when Mac-Kee performed his new live act with "machines-only" at our last years I Love Vinyl Open Air. Since then we have woven close ties between us and we're proud to present his new release „That's Right EP“ on RRYGULAR.

Over the past three years the german duo Denied has convinced the scene with  releases on labels such as Viva Music or Formula Records. Now, the guys arrived at the Berlin-based label RRYGULAR with the “The Glorified Boondocks EP” in their baggage. The tracks present themselves in a very tribal and playful manner, holding up their minimalistic approach and their tooly character. Rather designed for the early hours in the club, this release drives you until the final beat. As a bonus Sascha Riot and Mark Jackus picked up “Glory” and “Locura” and nip the last doubt about a high-quality and cutting-edge EP in the bud!

Producer Oliver Ho aka Raudive is not a dark horse. Two years after his acclaimed “Abc EP” he returns to RRYGULAR with his new release “Love Is The Devil”. Straight and facing forward but also ‘back to the roots’ somehow. That doesn't need to be a compromise. It is a symbiosis that works absolutely fine in case of this particular 2+1-tracker. Like always the englishman knows how to use percussion elements without getting cheesy. A certain reference to Electro is obvious but it underlines the typical dirty Raudive sound rather than trying to be referential. But who needs genres anyway? „Club-Disco-Techno-House-Funk-Electro“ - some kind of monster!

Insect Elektrika, one of the first Czech electronic live acts ever, has already become an icon in the local scene. The two guys are collaborating since school and have brought out several releases on different labels like BWG, Tracer, Paria, Monocline, Vektron Music and Wozzotic. Now, the duo take it to the next level and present their new “Puppet Lawyer EP” on the German label Rrygular.
The four-tracker comes with a fine selection of straight ahead, upfront techno beats, just like you got used to with this label. The sound is best described as glitchy, noisy, driving and somehow classic minimal with dark and atmospheric industrial pads and some deep down bass! From the first to the last track it's simply a round and quality release.

The name Tim Xavier should be well known by any music producer from Berlin, who has ever thought seriously about the mastering of his tracks. The owner of the Manmade Mastering Studios is usually the last link in the chain before the final pressing on vinyl. With his „Play On Words EP“ on RRYGULAR Tim Xavier proves that he can realise the earlier production steps - the creation of proper club music - as well.
The very sophisticated dry to dubby tracks happen somewhere between weird coldness and warm brutality. Xavier plays a lot with room and reverberation and lets the listener sink in the depths of his soundscapes.

In the meantime Mo's Ferry's minimal techno sub label RRYGULAR arrived at release no. 50. Reason enough to give an overview on its creative work. Since the beginning in 2006 the artist pool grew up to 20 acts, most of them no flash in the pan but welcomed regular guest on the label. Also the remix artists have a standing and status. RRYGULAR has always stuck with its minimal direction despite a few trips to Dub and Techhouse. There is just one more thing to say: let's welcome the next 50 releases.

"The Voice Of The People" is release no.2 on RRYGULAR by German tech house producers Denied. And the guys definitely keep the pace since their label debut “The Glorified Boondocks EP” only half a year ago. In the meantime they have extended their discography with releases and appearances on Intacto, Oppossum records and others. Denied's sound cannot be better described than by the duo itself: Ethnical and tribal elements combined with forward pushing tech house grooves. There are two remixes by Sascha Riot and Sven Kerkhoff which add a spicy taste to the original track as well as a bonus called "Sweetness".

Jorge Ciccioli shows up again on RRYGULAR. With his new release „Southern Tool“ the Argentinian dives really deep into the minimal genre. By focussing on the most important elements he created three handy and driving dj tools. And although the tunes are already well arranged there is room to experiment while playing. The track „Sinatsuma“ comes with a nice signature phrase that might get stuck in your head. The whole B face is reserved for the remix by Franco Cinelli who turned the main track into a dubby Techhouse tune of almost 10min. Nice one.

Side projects can slumber for months or years... but from time to time you feel the urge to try again and do things besides the day by day business. The same goes for Marek Bois, the alter ego of Dapayk focussed on pure minimal techno tools. His greeting card from Technow is a long awaited sign of life and brings three brand new tracks that make the RRGYULAR fan base smile.

The „Jokers EP“ is Charles Widmores second release on RRYGULAR. He gets support from Kat Voltage who is in charge for the catchy vocals on the title track. The original version is a beat reduced dj tool for various applications. But with three remixes in the package there are minimal, deep and more techno-ish interpretations included. Sure, as one part of Boot Slap Charles Widmore got his finger in that pie. But Thodoris Triantafillou & Cj Jeff as well as Jeanm contribute their own vibes. The EP is completed by the tracks „Try This“ and „Darkness“ that show the other, slightly darker side of Charles Widmore.

RRYGULAR is Mo's Ferry Prod.'s second offshoot born in late 2005. While Mo's Ferry Prod. itself stands for edgy and rocking minimal sounds and the first sublabel fenou is oriented more towards cuteminimalelectronica RRYGULAR is pushing forward to the core: Everything is about the definition of sound, about a compromise between DJ tool and floor filler. On releases filed under this label one can find tracks with a slight sombre touch. But it's not like these playful, tinkered tracks, it's much more DJ oriented, straighter, always directed to the floor. That's the idea behind RRYGULAR... But it should be allowed to escape from this routine with one or two out of ten releases.
