Fixated

Rse is an American country, pop, rock, hip hop artist from Indianapolis, Indiana. At a young age of 2 years old, Rse picked up a guitar and his love for music would begin. By 5 years old he had begun playing drums and internalizing his new passion.

Though his teenage years would bring much depression and trauma he found comfort in the sounds of Pearl Jam, Johnny Cash, Incubus, Tupac and Nirvana. The trials and tribulations of life would soon push him away from music only for him to desire and long for it even more.  He began writing in the form of poetry as his first artistic endeavour as Rse Poet Society. 

In 2017, Rse released his first EP entitled “In the Middle.” The project brought much local attention from the Indianapolis music community. Songs like “Suicide” and “Fixated” would surprise listeners as Rse would bring his country influences being in Indianapolis, his rock influences as a guitar and drum player and finally his love and connection to the pain with modern hip hop.

By 2019, Rse began working with founder of Vice Rays Sunglasses, Colin Martin. With Colin as his manager Rse connected with Mic Tee and Jesse Christophr, head A&R for the AMAG Collective (Cash Money/Rich Gang). Together as a team Rse, Colin, Mic and Jesse hit the studio with the AMAG Collective team to begin building a new sound that embodies all of his different sonic influences.

“I’m focused man, I know I can accomplish something beyond me at this point. I want to give hope to the hopeless with this music. It's done so much for me as a person and I hope one day my music can do the same for someone else out there.”

Rse is currently in the studio working on his debut project in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He is slated to take his talents to Miami in the next year shortly following the release.
