The Canooby Tune on the flipside of this record gives full expression to the open-minded character of Seth Schwarz, featuring a jazzy double bass, a bouncy piano, and broken beat textures. "You Make Me Feel" was the first outtake from Steve Bug's second Poker Flat album "Sensual". Slowly but unmistakebly building up a hypnotic groove with a rolling percussion loop, ice-cold snare and hollering vocal (reminiscent of Gainsbourg's "Bonny and Clyde"), Bug forces you flashing your sharpest dancing routines even before he throws in that distorted, take-no-prisoners, Saunderson-style organ-bassline. Flip over for another version that's served up straightened-out and stripped down yet still manages to come up with a higher percentage of FUNK. Another totally satisfying five star menu for the Poker Flat gourmet.

Many will known Cascandy for his numerous releases on the Super Flu Label “Monaberry” together with a great number of tunes on his own label, named after the project itself – “Cascandy”. The Berlin-based producer returns this to the spotlight this month with a brand new two tracker and boy is it special. Leading the way is title cut Blechy, a tune you can hear exclusively on When We Dip today. This is a slow-building peach centred around a chugging groove and an ensemble of wavering melodic touches. The track breaks at the mid-point buoyed by the introduction of an uplifting vocal and an organ reminiscent of The Doors. It rises to an awesome climax before exploding back into the groove!
