Salam alaikum! Next up in our series is Daidu, Dutch-born Afghan living in Amsterdam. He'll be visiting the void that's left of the musical scene in Afghanistan, as the country's political instability has often limited the exercise of music. The focus will mostly be on older music from an era in which traditional sounds started to get mixed with Western influences, whilst taking you through the cultural and political contexts that interfered with musicians' desires.
