This song was also written at the height of the pandemic.  My hope was to express how confusing and absurd life is.  As the world stopped moving around me, it became more clear how insignificant everything is in the grand scheme, while also being so important on a personal level.

I wanted an intro that highlighted my intricate rhyme schemes while also highlighting the unnecessary nature of them.  t the time I wore this I thought maybe I would try to make music one more time.  One more round is more than another drink

One More Round (2024)

This is a song I wrote at the height of the pandemic when like many others my life was in a state of dramatic change. Relationships, friendships and ideas of what the world is all ended around this time.  This song is meant to express my vulnerability in a time where as an individual I had very little control of my life and my environment.

Everything everyone says only means something to those who want it to. I tried to make a complex rhyme scheme describe some life experiences and ultimately realized it’s just bla bla bla.

This is a song about life and death. More life than death. We’re all on the ride, and the ride ends for us all once we reach our destination. 

The chorus is built out by sounds I recorded off of the transit system in the Portland area.

R.sinik (arsenic) is a lyricist and producer from Portland, Oregon. He began writing lyrics and battling in high school where him and two friends formed the rap group Outtelligence. They would go on to release 3 separate projects as a group, being featured in movies and on an unsigned hype mixtape distributed by Shadyville records.

Since 2007 R.Sinik has been working as a solo artist, releasing multiple singles and two full length albums; Live From Nowhere (2016) and John Was Here (2024). He is known for his politically driven socially conscious songs and intricately layered multisyllabic rhyme schemes and word play.
