Our 75th release is upon us as RSRRCT returns to Gem with his follow up EP, titled ‘Riddles in The Sand’. 

Kicking things off, ‘Riddles In The Sand’ pulsates with a tight groove and a beautifully executed combination of rhythms. Following course, a dark vocal appears alongside a distorted arp which lead the track into a deep and powerful rapture. Next up, ‘Reality’ takes us on a hypnotic trip with progressive synth work, giving it an open air feel. The vocal helps carry the track through to a breakbeat-esk break-down, before reaching its peak with a powerful bass which explodes straight back into stripped groovy goodness, and shows us once again why RSSRCT is once again the one to watch.

„Zero Gravity Acid Rainstorm“ unsurprisingly offers an acid-theme, joined by with synth-stabs and another stripped back groove.

Finally, „Robotic Love Affair“ is a more trippy affair, with a mental synth-line and spacy pads.

RSRRCT is an up and coming DJ and Producer, born in Washington D.C., Amsterdam based artist, who discovered love for electronic music early in his life

At the age of 17, he made the leap and purchased Ableton and got to work learning the craft.   He is a regular on the rave circuit in Amsterdam. His first gigs were on this scene in empty warehouses, an abandoned office building, or the various hidden spots tucked away in the industrial sections of Amsterdam. RSRRCT continues to participate with these groups and considers it a vital and vibrant part of electronic music culture 

For his debut on Say What? he delivered us 4 stunning tracks with a mixture of melodic and pounding grooves that will make his name known all over the scene

RSRRCT is an up and coming DJ and Producer, who has found his home base between Amsterdam and Koh Phangan. Born in Washington D.C., RSRRCT discovered a love for electronic music early in life. At the age of 17, he made the leap and purchased Ableton and got to work learning the craft.

RSRRCT produced as a hobby for several years until, at the age of 23, he relocated to the Dutch capital of Amsterdam where he discovered his love for techno. In a short time RSRRCT has managed to create a deep and driving signature sound that is strongly influenced by late 90s Techno, House, and Electronica. RSRRCT's sound covers a wide spectrum from heavy driving techno on one end to a more melodic and nuanced sound at the other end.

RSRRCT is a regular on the rave circuit in Amsterdam. His first gigs were on this scene in empty warehouses, an abandoned office building, or the various hidden spots tucked away in the industrial sections of Amsterdam. RSRRCT continues to participate with these groups and considers it a vital and vibrant part of electronic music culture.
