R&S founder Renaat Vandepapeliere launches a new series RV Trax, to reflect the sound of his DJ sets and to give a platform to artists not based on social media likes or online hype.

Re-invigorated and inspired by contemporary dance floor sounds, after 30+ years as the label owner and figurehead Renaat succumbed to the temptation to finally, at the tender age of 60, try his own hand at rocking the crowd.

Renaat's sets have seen him assemble a treasure trove of unreleased music that will now find a very personal home on RV Trax. Emblazoned with the Belgian national colours of black, yellow and red these tracks proudly flaunt their 'floor-filling dynamics.

The first, a dance floor stormer from Steve Legget, remixing fellow North Easterner Bird Of Paradise’s original - a tight punchy workout that pairs distorted 909 kicks against a high tension string part and melancholic synth pads. G-Prod (AKA French brothers David and Nicolas Gaugain) provide a balmy, motor-city style number - shuffling drums underpin sunrise synth washes and euphoric melodies. Buenos Ayres' Hermetics provide a frostier mood with ‘Collider’ - chilly FM bells pinned against serrated percussion and swirling distortion

Vagabond Moscow is the new Various Artists Compilation introducing a brand new selection of talents to the world. Featuring five tracks tested by label boss Greg Ignatovich, the compilation aims to champion upcoming talents who are being welcomed into the label for the first time. With each grooving cut and captivating hook Vagabond Moscow, the second in a series of compilations, promises to take the listener on a sun-kissed journey

Premiere: Rose Tinted & Anna Be "Aquila" - Kreis Recordings

Kreis Recordings third time around the block is a tour de force of Tech heat from Rose Tinted and Anna Be. Showing the unique energy the label is building the imprint brings back the remixers from the 001 to take control for 003 and their first artist EP.

The Saraswati EP is a three tracker, featuring originals that cleverly walk the line between Tech and Techno. Warm production matched with timeless melodics, stretched out sound scapes which drag you into a different frame of mind.

Aquila is a masterpiece of atmospheric but pounding beats, sizzling hats balance out an otherworldly dreamscape, but your awake...its 6am and your dancing.

Next up Danitza feels like that brief trip up a mountain, fresh and gentle melodys work with distant vocals to create a trip thats half glacial air, half ibiza airport.

Rounding out proceedings on the EP is the title track Saraswati, this one channels a more progressive energy in the original sense of the world, slowly building, layering and thickening as it progresses.

Kreis Recordings is a label coming into its own.
