Ric Browde is an author, music producer, and songwriter. He produced Poison's multi-platinum debut album, "Look What the Cat Dragged In." Browde co-wrote and co-produed Joan Jett's return to commercial success with "Up Your Alley" in 1988. Browde has recorded thirty-six albums to date and sold over twenty-seven million records earning eight platinum and eleven gold records.
In the 1970s Browde produced several platinum albums for Ted Nugent even though they didn’t get along that well.  Browde then made a career change with his satirical and somewhat autobiographical novel, "While I'm Dead...Feed the Dog" in 1999. Translated into several languages the book was also adapted into the 2012 film “Behaving Badly.” The film did not see release until 2014. Browde felt the movie adaptation was awful and has made fun of the movie in his blog, "While I'm Dead...Feed the Dog...the Blog,” which is the story behind the story behind the movie that has nothing to do with the story.

Sunday, March 15th Levity Live Comedy Club in West Nyack, NY welcomes WWE’s Hardcore Legend, Mick Foley. The 3-time WWE champion and 2-time New York Times #1 best-selling author has a one-man stage show called “Hardcore Legend: An Evening with Mick Foley.” In this show Foley tells his incredible stories of is time in the WWE using humor and intensity. 
Mick has took his show worldwide with glowing praise where ever he goes. Best-selling author Paul O’Brien, writing for The Layfield Report wrote, “He always leaves them laughing. Laughing, standing at the end and always wanting more.” Even the decidedly non-wrestling publication Broadway Babies mused “If you’re interested at all in wrestling, you’ll love it; if you’re not, you’ll like it.”
Mick got the nickname “The Hardcore Legend” for his uncanny trait of taking punishment in some of the most dramatic matches in sports-entertainment history. No matter if he was Cactus Jack, Mankind, or as Mick he made the WWE fans always walk away amazed from his performance. 
One of Foley’s most epic and brutal battle was with The Undertaker in 1998’s “Hell in a Cell” match, during which he was knocked unconscious after falls both off of and through the 16 foot Cell structure. Foley finished the match – with one of his front teeth lodged in his nose. 
Mick wrote his autobiography of 700 pages all on notebook paper, which was later turned into “Have a Nice Day.” That book became number one on the New York Times best-seller list in October 1999. The book remained on the Times list for twenty six weeks. In 2001 Mick wrote “Foley is Good” and was on The New York Times list as well. Foley has published a total of ten books; four memoirs, four children’s books, and two novels.

On April 9th FX will premiere a new show called “The Comedians.” The show stars Billy Crystal, who plays a comedy legend who is reluctantly paired with Josh Gad, an edgier up-and-coming star, in an unfiltered, behind-the-scenes look at a fictional late night sketch comedy show where egos and generations collide.

Stephnie Weir stars as “Kristen Laybourne,” the anxiety-ridden producer behind The Billy & Josh Show who frequently finds herself caught in the middle of Billy and Josh's arguments, Matt Oberg stars as “Mitch Reed,” the show’s head writer, and Megan Ferguson stars as “Esme McCauley,” a no-nonsense production assistant. Together they spend most of their time managing the egos of their two stars and the generational divide that keeps them from ever fully seeing eye-to-eye.

Weir was born and raised in Odessa, Texas, but started up her career after moving to Chicago and performing on stage in the city with theater companies that include The Second City Main Stage, The Goodman Theatre and ImprovOlympic.

Many of Weir’s fans know her from “MADTV” where she had a wide range of colorful characters she played on the hit Emmy® Award-winning show. Some of her additional television credits include “Big Day,” “Modern Family,” “Weeds” and the animated series “King of the Hill.”

Weir also did some writing for shows such as “Wright vs Wrong” and “Counter Culture” for ABC. She has also served as a Consulting Producer on FOX’s “Raising Hope” and CBS’ “The Millers.”

In sports there are certain moments or plays that become iconic. There can be that one picture that as soon as your eyes see it you travel back in time to that moment. Whether it is Michael Jordan soaring from the free throw line or Carlton Fisk using body language to will a home run, we as sports fans live for moments like those. 
One of these images that captures that essence is when Brandi Chastain kicked a game winning penalty kick in the 1999 Women’s World Cup. After scoring the fifth kick in the penalty shootout to give the United States the win over China in the final game, she took over her jersey and fell to the ground in jubilation. That moment will forever remain in the hearts of USA soccer fans. 
I had the great pleasure of chatting with Brandi about the U.S. Women’s National Team playing their first game against Australia on June 8. We also talk about her work with Capital One to promote the Capital One Cup. This campaign celebrates both men and women student athletes. For the past few years the Capital One Cup has rewarded the best Division I programs for their cumulative athletic performances across 39 men's and women's sports.
Brandi Chastain led the Santa Clara University Broncos to two NCAA Division I soccer quarterfinal appearances before becoming one of the brightest stars of the US Women's National Soccer Team. Brandi is currently the volunteer assistant coach at her alma mater.

To provide people with a simple yet powerful way to show their support, Allstate is taking “holding hands”—the universal sign of solidarity—into the digital and social realm, encouraging individuals to virtually hold hands and create a global chain of love and acceptance.
Through an interactive experience on Allstate.com/LGBT, people can upload a photo of themselves holding out their hand to become a link in a global hand-holding chain. Once they add their hand to the chain, they are prompted to extend an open hand to their friends via their social networks to help propel the chain’s growth.
Allstate has once again teamed up with out-singer/song writer Eli Lieb who will help ignite participation by asking fans and supporters to take his hand to spread the love. 
“I’m looking forward to once again working with Allstate to help bring forward the message of acceptance and equality to more people in a unique and inspiring way,” Lieb said. “Holding hands is a simple act, but a little goes a long way and it is my hope that this program inspires others to celebrate all kinds of love.”
Eli Lieb is an American pop singer and songwriter. Hailing from Fairfield, Iowa, Eli began his musical journey in New York City where he started working on his songwriting and performing. He released a debut solo album in 2011 and was soon featured in US Weekly, Out and other national publications.
Upon the death of his father in 2012, Eli took a professional sabbatical and returned to Iowa. During this time of reflection and regrouping, Eli began recording covers of songs that were popular and meaningful to him to release on YouTube. These videos soon picked up a natural and organic following.
With a growing fan base, Eli once again turned his focus on his own songwriting. In 2013, Eli decided to go to Los Angeles for a few weeks to work with other writers and further his career. A two-week trip then became a relocation.
Since Eli’s arrival in Los Angeles in 2013, he has collaborated with artists including Adam Lambert, Cheyenne Jackson and Crystal Bowersox. He was even featured in the 2014 Grammy Awards during the presentation of nominees for Best Pop Vocal Album.
Thanks to his growing popularity, Eli was approached by the Leo Burnett advertising agency to write an original song for Allstate Insurance’s #OutHoldingHands campaign. Eli wrote a song called “Safe in My Hands” that accompanies an animated short film of the same name that was released in June 2014. The song and a dance remix are both available on allstate.com/lgbt. The feeling and message of the song got the attention of the producers of ABC Family’s, The Fosters, where it was featured as the closing song for the second season finale.
Eli has been working on a full-length album with producer John Feldmann (5 Seconds of Summer) and on July 15, 2014, released a new song that was a collaboration between them and writer Simon Wilcox called “Zeppelin.” Eli’s second release with Feldmann, titled “Lightning in a Bottle,” also came out last summer.

Hosted by Willis, the series will feature world-class bladesmiths creating many of history’s most iconic edged weapons, from the Japanese katana to the medieval broadsword to ancient throwing blades like the Chakram. Production has started in Brooklyn, New York.
In each episode, four master bladesmiths will put their skills and reputations on the line, trying to avoid elimination while using traditional and state-of-the-art tools and machinery to turn raw metal into authentic working versions of classic bladed weapons of yesteryear. In the hands of these gifted craftsmen, every weapon is not just a lethal instrument of war, but also an elegant work of art. The colorful histories of these weapons will be told throughout the forging process. Then the weapons will be assessed and tested by a panel of internationally recognized judges.
Joining Willis will be a judging panel of renowned experts: J. Neilson, a Pennsylvania-based Mastersmith who has been making knives and edged weapons for more than 20 years; Doug Marcaida, a New York-based hand-to-hand combat specialist who has studied and mastered fighting styles and techniques around the world; and David Baker, a California-based authority known for replicating period-accurate weapons, from submachine guns to samurai swords, for both museums and films. 


Wil Willis Talks About Hosting “Forged In Fire”

Tim Dunn is a NYC-based comedian and is the host of Fuse’s “Got Ur #” that airs Tuesdays at 7/6 Central. A Northwestern University grad and Chicago native, Timothy moved to New York City and was thrilled to join the company of the prestigious comedy machine, The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, in January 2008. Since becoming family at the UBC Theatre, he has been an actor on three house sketch comedy teams ("Maude Teams"), a series producer and performer on three internet sketch comedy teams for UCBComedy ("Beta Teams"), and he currently serves as an actor and Senior Producer on UCBComedy Digital Team, "Pocketwatch," making topical sketch comedy for the internet and beyond. 
Timothy briefly hosted his own show on The Animal Planet and has done shows, bits, segments and pilots for Conan, MTV, VH1, LOGO, XTube, WPIX11, Anderson Cooper LIVE, and The Weather Channel.

Breakout actor Ari Stidham stars as socially awkward whiz kid ‘Sylvester Dodd’ in CBS’s drama, “Scorpion,” airing Monday nights at 9/8c. Inspired by the life of present day CEO and eccentric tech genius Walter O’Brien (Elyes Gable), a charismatic Stidham brings ‘Sylvester’ to life as the “Human Calculator” in a team of brilliant misfit prodigies, recruited by Homeland Security as the last line of defense against a series of complex, high-tech threats around the globe. 

The genius think-tank, known as #TeamScorpion was handpicked by “O'Brien,” (Gable) who has an IQ of 197 and is considered one of the smartest people in the world. “Dodd” (Stidham), a genius statistician is “O’Brien’s” best friend and right hand, who also struggles with OCD and anxiety. Working alongside team members “Toby Curtis,” (Eddie Kaye Thomas) a world class shrink and “Happy Curtis,” (Jadyn Wong) a mechanical prodigy, #TeamScorpion is tasked with solving the most mind-boggling national security issues, which ultimately comes naturally to them. 

The multitalented millennial is no stranger to the television screen and is best known for his role as awkward musician “Ian Schonfeld” on the ABC Family drama “Huge” opposite Nikki Blonsky in addition to spreading his wings on a number of primetime hits including “The Crazy Ones” alongside the late, great Robin Williams, “Mike & Molly,” “Glee” and “The Whole Truth to name a few. 

Born and raised in Southern California, Stidham harvested his enthusiasm for the arts at an early age and was nurtured by his parents’ love of music growing up. As a toddler, he immediately gravitated to the stage, starring in a number elementary and youth based musical theater and stage productions; affirming his innate star power and earning him an invitation to perform with the prestigious American Conservatory Theater (ACT) program in San Francisco.
Outside of acting, Stidham enjoys spending time with his family in addition to composing and scoring his own music under the pseudonym “DrTV.”

Originally from Dayton, Ohio, David Ferguson has been an L.A.-based comedy writer and performer since graduating from Ithaca College in 2006. His work with “The Birthday Boys” out of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre has included a long-running monthly sketch show as well as a number of festivals and live shows across North America. “The Birthday Boys” had Bob Odenkirk and Ben Stiller as the executive producers.

The group's sketch TV show “The Birthday Boys” is Executive Produced by Bob Odenkirk and can be found on Netflix. Dave has also appeared in programs like “The Office,” “Children’s Hospital,” and “Conan.” He has written as a staff writer for Funny or Die, the MTV Movie Awards, and all seasons of “IFC's Comedy Bang! Bang!”

David Ferguson Talks “The Birthday Boys,” Upright Citizens Brigade, And More

“Pixels” is a film about kids from the 1980s having been influenced by video games. Sam Brenner (Adam Sandler), Will Cooper (Kevin James), Ludlow Lamonsoff (Josh Gad), and Eddie “The Fire Blaster” Plant (Peter Dinklage) all played in a video game competition. Now fast forward to present day where they have to put those skills to the test. In “Pixels,” when intergalactic aliens discover video feeds of classic arcade games and misinterpret them as a declaration of war, they attack the Earth, using the video games as the models for their assaults. Now U.S. President Cooper must call on his old-school arcade friends to save the world from being destroyed by Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Galaga, Centipede, and Space Invaders.  Joining them is Lt. Col. Violet Van Patten (Michelle Monaghan), a specialist supplying the “Arcaders” with unique weapons to fight the aliens.
