Last week we began to dive a little deeper into Saul’s pattern of using spirituality for his own personal gain.

There are some very important lessons for us here in these verses...

Many of us are well aware and afraid of indulging the sinful nature. 

However, not too many of us have this same kind of awareness when it comes to legalism, prideful religiosity, and false spirituality.

Blaise Pascal has been famously been quoted to say, “Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction.”

Last week, from verses 24-30, we only had time to talk about two fallouts of a misguided faith... Today we’ll try to look at 3 or 4 more.
