Moodena’s success over the last five years has been nothing short of prodigious. His meteoric rise to being ever present at the pinnacle of both the disco & Nu Disco charts has seen him become one of the most in demand DJ/ producers across the globe. 

Crowned Number 1 Nu Disco Artist of the Year two years in a row and a string of number 1 selling singles under his belt has also seen him become hugely sought after as a remixer with recent stand out remixes for Dave Lee on Z Records, Rhyze and John Davis, both on legendary New York label Nervous, ‘The Destroyer’ for Soul Central, and Bellaire’s ‘Sunset Ballad’.

Despite such impressive studio prowess Moodena is perhaps most at home in the DJ booth, seamlessly combining everything from Disco and US Garage to house and Techno. His ability to fully connect with the crowd have seen him play everywhere from Elrow’s Festival in Croatia to Printworks in London to Soho House in Rome and Istanbul, Curfew Festival in Belgium and Heidegluhen in Berlin, one of the globes quintessential underground tastemaker clubs. He has also toured extensively in Mexico and toured India for the first time in October 2023.  

His stand-out Moodena Presents nights has become a London staple booking legends and upstarts alike, including Dave Lee (AKA Joey Negro), The Shapeshifters, Kirollus, Young Pulse, Ray Mang, Mighty Mouse (RIP), CJ Mackintosh, Art of Tones to name a few. With Moodena currently back in the studio working his magic on a fresh batch of disco classics and multiple international tours already confirmed it’s safe to say that his success will continue for many years to come.

Hertfordshire based electronic music producer Howard Dodd grew up in Hove, and has operated under the Anoesis moniker since 1994. 

His first releases on West London's D*fusion label aimed to combine the intensity of house music and cut up beats, with a nod to cinema and soundscapes. Following the drum and bass release Shatter on Octopus (a Fabio favourite at Speed London), Howard took a break from vinyl to concentrate on life and family, and made a number of releases on the Vorbic net label, under multiple artist names.

Continuing interest in his 90s work led to reissues of Anoesis, Oxidation and Doc Bozique recordings on Semmi Sellang (Budapest), Cosmic Soup (London) and Spray (Berlin), and more recently two new albums on Cosmic Soup and Melbourne based Paper-Cuts. Up and coming new music is also scheduled on Kranq.

Howard has been involved with remixes from and for Bassbin Twins, D. Tiffany, DMS12, The Nextmen and Organic Audio, and was also a member of Tongue (with Tom Withers aka Klute), and the field recording duo Howard Dodd and Keith de Mendonca.
