A little test, having a bit of fun in the studio. SID supplied the square and saw waveforms, but then Guitar Rig and Volcano did the interesting things. Very happy with the results though.

I was never happy with the timing of the filter opening and closing, and being a lazy person I thought I'd see if I could improve this by sending MIDI control changes rather than programming it with MIDI controllers. So for the 2nd pass I sent MIDI control CHANGES (single values) to the cutoff/sync and azimoth of the filter seperately, rather than just sending lots of MIDI control data to the filter cutoff alone. It sounds a lot more in time now :)

Journey

I added some guitars to TDK's excellent "Hoovering With a Hangover" from Chiptunes = WIN vol.2 (https://chiptuneswin.bandcamp.com/album/chiptunes-win-volume-2-2). This track was my favorite on the comp, and having the chance to work on it was really special for me. It got even sweeter when I got to talk with TDK, a real gentleman who contributed to the mixing and mastering to bring this awesome final result.
