Providing the signals through the Rhythmic Culture podcast this week is Ogazón. The part-Spanish, part-Luxembourgish artist has cultivated her skill and selection process in Amsterdam’s after-hour scene and it has been the constant discovery of new music and like-minded people that triggered her artistic career. Now residing in Berlin, her rhythms find inspiration in the eclectic and somewhat wilder characteristics of the city. Not bound to a sound in particular, Ogazón is best in arranging a coherent thread of feelings throughout her sets.

In this mix she touches upon the more blissful sounds from her wide palette. Full of mesmerizing tones, dreamy textures and even some breaks, this is a beautiful journey.

LUME creates a sonic journey that invites listeners into a transformative and diverse soundscape. With roots in Germany and now flourishing in the electronic music scenes of Innsbruck and Munich, he is an integral member of the “FACETS“ collective from Augsburg and the event series “SURGE“ in Munich. He also launched his own event series “PUBLIC ECSTASY“ in Innsbruck in 2023, showcasing his musical vision.

Electronic music has always treated space as an essential element along with rhythm and melody. In recent years, LUME's sonic vision has taken this exploration further, creating hypnotic music that immerses the listener in the spatial dimensions of sound.

Inspired by a deep love for the music of the 90s, he has embarked on a musical journey that fuses various genres into a cohesive soundscape. His music represents layered techno infused with Breakbeat, IDM-inspired sounds, Ambiente and Electro, while trying to capture the innovative essence of 90s electronic music. The German artist's ever-evolving sonic signature shifts genres and perspectives, always celebrating the rich diversity of electronic music to create a dynamic listening experience.

For this set, I wanted to take a new approach and explore a soundscape I’ve never shared publicly before. It blends Trip-Hop, Hip-Hop, Reggae, Ambient, Glitch, and IDM into a journey across tempos and moods. The mix combines some of my favorite recent finds with long-time classics that I hold close to my heart – presenting another facet of my musical identity.
