Tin Man and AAAA summon the ethereal spirit of acid. Tin Man, AKA Johannes Auvinen, has been studying the emotional potential of the Roland TB-303 for 15 years now, and AAAA (Gabo Barranco), a fixture of the Mexico City underground, might as well be his acolyte. While the coincidental similarities of their studio and live approaches make this collaboration feel natural, even expected. This recording was taken from the underground party EXT. in Mexico City, a reference for the true rave in this city with its guerrilla communications and the use of unusual abandoned spaces as scenery as an alternative to the usual common club spaces.

It is Monday the 3rd of February 2014 and we have DJ Red for the first time on the CLR Podcast. Born and raised in Rome, Italy, Simona Calvani p.k.a. DJ Red has been a resident for the Ultrabeat nights at Rome´s most important dance venue Goa club for the last 13 years. In 2012 she joined the BPitch Control artist roster and released her first record “Eyes Are Blind” on the BPitch Control label. Her mantra “creation is the source of energy” underpins the importance of the relationship between artist and public. Her innovative DJ style is characterized by Techno-Dub influences, dark and deep sounds. Now in its 200th instalment, this Podcast has given voice to a diverse offering of global talents across the musical spectrum, from the democratic rhythms of zeitgeist appropriate techno and house through to more avant-garde synthwork.

This next guest has cast a large shadow over the technosphere, so large in fact, that no introduction could fully encompass the breadth of his achievements. But in brief: Ben Klock is a titan whose formative years were spent playing marathon mixes to the crowds at Berlin’s (then recently opened) Berghain. For my return to Open Ground, I had the idea to record my full set and post it online. Nothing can really describe that club, the sound system, the room accoustics, the way everything has been designed just breathes passion and dedication. Just amazing crew and always a treat to come back there.
The vibe there was absolutely amazing, and I guess you really just have to experience it on the spot to really get what it's like. 

But yea, here's the 3h30 journey we've embarked on there this 8th May, and I hope you enjoy it !

For my first visit in San Francisco, I had the immense pleasure of playing at Endzeit party in collaboration with Club Moniker & hyper k in a new warehouse space, with an amazing sound system and a great vibe making it a memorable night.

Konstantin is a german DJ and producer who established himself as a one of the most exceptional figures of the modern electronic music scene. Giegling, an eclectic label he formed with his friends, has covered everything from techno and house to experimental and ambient. In 2014, Resident Advisor named Giegling as the best label of the year and wrote that "With albums and EPs from Kettenkarussell, Vril, Edward, Traumprinz and DJ Metatron, that feeling they've been building for years reached something close to perfection."
Besides Konstantin, German dj is also known for his alter ego project Herr Koreander and Kettenkarussell, the result of collaboration with Leafar Legov. Under Kettenkarussell they released 3 EPs and one highly acclaimed studio album, "Easy Listening".

What makes Konstantin outstanding as a selector is the way he combines tough and aggressive percussion with melancholic atmosphere. With this mix, Konstantin brings 85-minutes of sonic adventure into authentic and modern dance music. Throughout the mix, Giegling’s head does not limit himself to one genre, crossing up musical borders with carefully selected records.
