RubberBand Sosh (“SOSH”) was born and raised in Jamaica, Queens, home of Hip-Hop legends such as Run-DMC, LL-Cool J and Nas. SOSH discovered a love for Hip-Hop at an early age; there was something in the music that spoke to him. It all started in Baisley Park when he heard Dewitt on the 1's and 2's cutting up the South Side Anthem (“Rising to the Top”). That was the day he fell in love with Hip-Hop.
