Let's Move Somewhere Else

Rubberbear are a band with French and English roots, formed in Manchester in late 2012. The nucleus of the band is Tom Chapman (New Order) and Steve Trafford (ex-The Fall), and for their debut EP they are joined by producer / programmer Phil Birchenall.

Sonically the band create meticulously crafted songs, that are realised through lush, multi-layered pop arrangements. Kraftwerk electronics collide with baroque orchestral parts, whilst pulsing dance beats melt seamlessly into rock'n'roll guitar riffs. It's a sound that is distinctly their own.

The band are preparing for their first live shows in early 2013, and are in the studio working on their debut album.
