Circles & Stones’ fourth release is a crossover of two worlds, two artists and two very distinct sounds showcased in “Deuce EP”.
One of those artists is Amount, who contributes an original track with an original name.
Staying true to his clear-cut ravey sound that’s instantly recognizeable on the dance floor, he delivers a classic original in “Görli(Original Mix)”, complete with synth lines tip-toeing on the border between sweet melancholy and 90’s tranciness while being driven along steadily by a punchy beat and a progressively slow build up.

This is my Interpretation of Ludwig Hirschs 1928. Even if it is already 10 months old it is still my favourite song i made and i want to share it with all of you for free.

English Translation:
 “Do you know my son, some day, shortly
after this powerful, apocalyptic detonation 
when there are only giant, blunt rocks on the 
Earth coated in a layer of thick, black soot,
a grand, white, radiant spaceship will land.
Somewhere between former Los Angeles
and the vaporized Black Sea.

And these strange, lanky beings
will have pills on-board
that they would have given us humans
as a gift, as always, when one visits
any savages,
one gives them small gifts.

Pills against sadness
they’d have given us, as a gift,
if we were still there.
Imagine, my son –”
said the old man mournfully –
“wonderful, little pills against sadness.”

“And these strange, lanky beings
will leave their spaceship, they will look
around and immediately know that a short 
while ago a powerful, apocalyptic 
detonation occurred. And they will sit 
between the giant, blunt rocks,
shaking their heads and breathing heavily.

And each of them will quickly swallow a
pill against sadness.
One of them will even write with their finger 
in the thick, black soot on a giant, blunt rock:

‘We would have loved to know what you are! 
How you look!
How you speak!
Humans!’

And then suddenly one of them will
shout, they will shout that they found something. 
And that will be an old, dented, 
little film projector, with a movie reel.
Sure, why not?” said the old man.

“And they’ll be overjoyed,
the strange, lanky beings will wait
until it’s dark and project the movie
on their grand, white, radiant spaceship.
And they will be astonished because 
they will see a Mickey Mouse movie.
A Mickey Mouse movie with Donald Duck, 
Tom Cat, and Goofy.

And these strange, lanky beings
will climb into their spaceship and say,

‘They were cheerful, these humans.
They looked cheerful,
they spoke cheerfully.
We would have given them our
pills against sadness
in vain.’”

Really happy that this track that i made a really long time ago is finally released, especially because its with such an awesome label like @klassifiedrecords ! I made this track when i wasn't living in Berlin yet, but i think you can clearly here the minimalistic and hypnotic influence of this wonderful vibrant city!

It’s happening! AFTER ALL - who would have thought. The German producer duo „Überhaupt & Außerdem“ release their EP on the 10th of October under the extraordinary label, Baikal Nomads.

Überhaupt & Außerdem, Philipp and Andreas, children of the German reunification, born on different sides of the Berlin Wall. Twins - 50% east, 50% west. They initially bumped heads in the city of Tübingen as band members and promoters in the creative scene. Soon, they joined their longtime shared passion for electronic music and DJing, which quickly morphed into first independent productions.

Their style has since developed by plunging deeper into production techniques, contemplating the essence of musicality through external critique and constructive feedback - so far by renowned Artists as Solee, Dominik Eulberg and Björn Torwellen, amongst others. During the time of lockdown of the Covid-19 pandemic they fully immersed into their creative work. The fruits of this time are now presented on the „After All“ EP which features the Canadian guitar prodigy Calum Graham and in addition comes with remixes by Deisen, Guy Maayan and Juliano Gomez.

Their sound might be perceived as downtempo with substantial attention to detail and complexity. It is sustained by an emotional touching spectrum of fluffy warmth to gloomy drive that never lacks attitude.

Later this year, you can expect more remixes, releases and podcasts among other content through Akasha MX and KataHaifisch.

“Chasing Rabbits” on Keller is Oilst & Ben Jarli's debut EP. They have developed their own unique style of eclectic downtempo, blending inspiration from a broad and colourful spectrum of genres. The three original tracks featured on this EP share a distinctive analogue sound design, and a dark, yet warm timbre.

The EP also includes two remixes of the title track. The first is an epic contribution from the up-and-coming live act O/Y, where the original’s signature acid bassline evolves into immersive ambient soundscapes. The second is a serotonin fuelled festival anthem by Molto, a promising offspring of the Keller stable.
