With this project I really wanted to create a link between Australian Rap and Punk music and what I do as a DJ/Producer.

Rap music in Australia is exploding right now. There are so many artists that are breaking away from the Aussie Skip Hop clichés and doing their own thing. Guys like Midas.Gold, I AM D, Tides and Ivan Ooze are amongst my favourites. I chose to remix records from these artists as I believe they all represent different sounds coming out of the Rap scene and all are crushing it in their own unique way. 

I've always been a huge fan of Punk Rock. I really think we starting to see a new wave in Australian Punk rock and one of the best bands coming out of the scene are Columbus. I'm so stoked to have the opportunity to remix one of their songs and connect with their energy and passion.

A huge thank you to all the artists involved with making this project possible. I hope everyone enjoys listening to it as much as I enjoyed working on it!
