'Echosphere' is the new three-original-track EP by the artist David Hammond known by his stage name SOLIS [US] @solis , in his first release on Univack. Besides, the EP is completed with a remix by the great artists HERNAN CATTANEO @hernancattaneo & SIMPLY CITY @simply_city_music

David Hammond, known by his stage name Solis [US], is a Madison, Wisconsin-based DJ & producer specializing in Deep Progressive House. His sound often carries an uplifting melodic quality, shaped by his early musical journey as a bassist at age 15, later transitioning into jazz and lead guitar. However, David eventually discovered his true passion in electronic music.

Solis [US] aims to offer listeners a more sophisticated and emotionally nuanced experience, moving beyond the typical hands-in-the-air anthems or dark, minor-key moods common in dance music. He strives for a slightly melancholic yet thoughtful vibe that ultimately leaves listeners feeling uplifted. His goal is to create tracks that are just as enjoyable in personal moments—whether driving or socializing—as they are on the dancefloor.

Tracks like “Echosphere” and “Electricolor” were inspired by his reflective sunset walks along Madison’s Lakeshore Path, while “Asiya” was crafted specifically with the dancefloor in mind, bringing a fun yet musically distinct energy.

The EP is completed by the awesome remix from the most representative DJ in the worldwide Progressive House scene for the last two decades, el maestro Hernan Cattaneo, in collaboration with the also experienced DJ & producer Simply City. This remix is the third release of both artists on Univack, and another evidence of their perfect symbiosis when they make music together.

Magnified Pt.8 is the latest installment in Magnitude Recordings' celebrated compilation series, continuing its mission of showcasing fresh talent in the progressive house scene.

This edition introduces rising artists like Argentinian producer Mariano Malvica, who debuts on the label with Karnak, and Sri Lanka-based duo ALPHA21 & Junior SL, presenting Darkened Energy. Alongside these newcomers, the EP also features a special treat for fans- the previously unreleased Ewan Rill Rave Remix of Storm Locked by Persik.

As always, the Magnified series stays true to the label's signature sound while providing a platform for emerging artists.

Chiruka, a promising force in the underground progressive house scene from Sri Lanka, is set to unveil his debut EP, Battle Alarm, on our label.The EP, which embodies the darker, more introspective side of progressive house, will undoubtedly resonate with fans of the genre who seek more than just mainstream sound—offering instead an immersive auditory journey into a world of intricate textures and emotional intensity.The Battle Alarm EP consists of three meticulously crafted tracks, with the title track, Battle Alarm, leading the charge. The original composition is a masterclass in underground progressive house, building slowly with atmospheric pads, deep basslines, and an evolving rhythm that encapsulates the genres essence. In addition to the original track, the EP features two remixes that bring their own unique interpretations to the piece. Oreiente, a fellow Sri Lankan artist, reimagines the track with his own fusion of underground elements, adding rich, organic textures and subtle percussion that breathe new life into the original. His remix carries a sense of both mystery and movement, maintaining the hypnotic, introspective atmosphere while introducing fresh rhythmic patterns. Oxyzones take adds a heavier, more club-oriented feel, blending powerful bass and intricate beats that create an energetic contrast to the originals darker tones. His remix reinterprets the track in a way that will undoubtedly ignite the dancefloor, while still staying true to the underground progressive house roots that define the EP.

Mathys Lenne explores new and immersive techno sonics with his ‘Detlev’ EP on Mutual Rytm.

French DJ/producer Mathys Lenne’s artistic vision is rooted in his deep connection to rhythm. Telling stories with his sounds while drawing inspiration from poetry and cinema and blending hypnotic textures with raw intensity, his music is widely supported across the scene via labels like Mord, Hayes and more. Across five vinyl cuts and three digital bonuses, the four-deck wizard keeps it deeply atmospheric with his label debut on SHDW’s Mutual Rytm imprint, combining elements of psychedelic rock, unique voice samples and saturated synths to create a sound that feels immersive and unrestrained in contrast to the fast-paced, visceral techno he has become known for.

‘Detlev’ opens up with hefty kicks that demand you quicken your step, while industrial effects and creepy design brings the detail that makes the track pop. The classy ‘Natural Born Killers’ rides on firm kicks with loopy percussive details tightly coiled, ensuring you are forever on edge as the drums march on. ‘Choose Your Pill’ is a stripped-back and pulsing deep techno cut with deft synths that peel off the groove, before ‘Untidy Echo’ delivers a cavernous sound with sparse hits and low-end rumbles that place you in the centre of an underground cavern. ‘Enfer ou Ciel’ featuring D.E.S brings a sense of melancholy in the occasional string sounds and watery droplets that float over more frictionless, meditative beats - while the trio of digital bonus cuts brings moody subterranean rollers ranging from snaking and dubby to more drum-led and eerie tones.

HAUMS announces second album Squaring the Circle, out April 25 on Quantum Feels

American innovator HAUMS returns with Squaring the Circle, his second full-length album, releasing April 25, 2025, on his own Quantum Feels imprint. Across eight expansive tracks, HAUMS invites listeners into a cinematic and deeply spiritual journey through melodic house—one that explores the eternal dance between the finite and infinite, the human and the divine.

Guided by a belief in the transformative power of music, HAUMS creates sound as ceremony—each track designed to awaken the body, stir the soul, and open portals of possibility. His productions are known for their emotional depth, majestic synthscapes, and hypnotic grooves, earning him 16 Beatport Top 100 placements and support from icons like Tiësto, Nora En Pure, and Vintage Culture.

The album opens with “Lost On Mars”, a soaring voyage through cosmic textures and crisp, slinky drums, before the powerful “Awake Me (Club Mix)” delivers a wave of cathartic energy through pulsing rhythms and transcendent vocals. “Resist and It Persists (Club Mix)” shifts the mood with driving percussion and darker, introspective tones, while “Power of Love” seduces with whispers and a rolling, hypnotic bassline.
