This is a country song written by Ronnie Neumeyer, the lead singer of Country Gone Awry, a country cover band I was in many years ago. He had a few original tunes and we thought it would be a great idea to record them as a band.

This particular tune is a comical look at that wonderful institution that may have institutionalized a few married couples!  ;-)  Enjoy!

This piece was a vehicle for releasing many emotions experienced with the recent global and national events. It's a departure from what I normally compose, but the edge and angst felt throughout this track was 100% me. I hope you enjoy it.

C# Minority

Known for his clever sense of melody, diverse style, disciplined work ethic and apparent love of his instrument, East L.A. native, Ruben Reza is a guitarist like no other.

Playing guitar since the age of 14, Ruben bought his first guitar from a friend. “I didn’t know anything about the guitar at all; I dug the chrome pickups, knobs and switches. I thought it just looked so cool!” He was instantly captured by the sound coming out of his 8-track-player-turned-guitar amp. This began a relentless pursuit to listen, learn, and emulate every piece of guitar music he heard. Within three weeks Ruben joined his first band.

Ruben once received a call back from an audition for the lead guitar spot in Ozzy Osbourne’s band. He has also recorded with members of the Brian Setzer Orchestra. Ruben was recently tasked with creating background music for a fashion show catwalk.

Ruben currently writes and records for his personal project The Ruben Reza Group. That music can be heard here on Soundcloud. Ruben also writes and records whatever pulls on his creative muscle.
