VENOM ONE BIOGRAPHY

Venom One is a London based DJ and production duo made up of Jorg Gradwohl and Neal McCluskie. Having both lived in the city of Liverpool and enjoyed long term success in the music industry, it was only a matter of time until Jorg and Neal joined forces.

With a history in producing, writing and remixing for artists including Armin van Buuren, Flo Rida, Kelly Rowland, Sugababes, Benny Benassi and countless others, it was their roots in EDM and passion for the genre which enthused the duo to pursue Venom One. Their sound can be best described as a mixture of trance and progressive house, however it is their influence of dubstep and pop which creates Venom Ones unique and intriguing blend of EDM.

Their career has already taken off to an impressive start with their remix of Emma Hewitts hit “Miss You Paradise”, which has already gained support from the likes of Gareth Emery and made The NYC Village Voice Pazz & Jop 2012 list. This has led to exciting collaborations with Adina Butar, Jonathan Mendelsohn, Sarah Howells, Chris Madin and many more.

Venom One currently host their own podcast, World Of Venom, available on iTunes which showcases a selection of their favorite tracks and features exclusive previews of their own work.

Venom One have recently signed to Audio Cargo, a record label founded by the Schulz Music Group which is set for huge success in the mainstream EDM world.

Walking the fine line of trance, house and progressive, we find Dutch DJ and producer Ruben de Ronde right in the middle of all things. No borders can stop this talent from touching the very edge of different styles, from the trancy ‘Forever In Our Hearts’ to the deeper, arousing progressive ‘Grands Boulevards’ and big room tech-track ‘Stoer’.

Since 2005, he’s poured out his sounds straight from his own label, ‘Statement’, as well as working extensively with Armada Music. A slew of remixes have made his name rise amongst the A-class, with his interpretation on works by Cosmic Gate, Way Out West, Push, Aly & Fila, W&W, Sean Tyas and many more. In 2008, his first solo-production, ‘Republique’, became a Top 20 hit in the Beatport chart and got the ‘Captivating’ stamp by the renowned DJ Mag. Ever since, he’s had no time to look back and faces the future with the release of ‘Noir’, ‘Natural’ and the most recent single with Robert Nickson ‘Superlative’ on Armin van Buuren’s label ’A State of Trance’.
The ongoing support for his productions include a fan base going by the name of Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Tiësto, Cosmic Gate, Markus Schulz, Judge Jules, Fedde LeGrand and Roger Sanchez alike.

Ruben has swept music lovers right off their feet with DJ sets all over the World. But he manages to do just the same with his bi-weekly radio show ‘The Sound of Holland’. On www.afterhours.fm , listeners of his show have the chance to vote for their favourite track under the ‘Blog Burner’ tag.
