Broken Mirrors Demo

Lida Rose was a barbershop quartet song written for the play "The Music Man" by Meredith Wilson in 1957 and originally performed with no instruments by the Buffalo Bills both onstage and onscreen. Using the lyrics written by Wilson and our own music we made a song we like. Not a lot of chords, whole lot of fun. We recorded this one with one mic hanging from the top of a garage as opposed to Broken Mirrors which we tracked the shit out of which was a total pain, probably wouldn't be too difficult with this song but suffering in quality is worth it just to get it out there. This will probably go through the tracking process but for now it's a nice simple little number.

derivative work of merideth wilson's a cappella "Lida Rose" from 1957 musical "the music man." everything our own except the lyrics. i guess that makes us the new zeppelin or something. except we credit obscure barbershop quartet showtunes instead of not crediting blind southern folk artists. oops. rock n roll.
