For the inaugural episode of the 'Darkroom Presents' podcast series, we're delighted to host a fantastic mix by Suddi Raval. 

There's not much that Suddi doesn't know about electronic music, he's literally written the book about it, with his highly successful 'A Brief History of Acid House.' As part of 'Together', he released 'Hardcore Uproar' in 1990 which smashed warehouses and clubs across the country. Now releasing EPs under his own name, this mix features, for the most part, both new and currently unreleased  tracks which champion his unique, space aged electro sound. Electric Lounge 5/11/23

I got asked to get a mix together for the ever excellent electronic/electro podcast 'Modulations' by @Agent808...so I thought I'd do something a little different. 
This mix is an homage to that period 1990-1992 when the breakbeat sound morphed into hardcore. House music may have been my first love, but she got well and truly jilted during that period....well, for a while at least!
I think it's wonderful that a new generation of producers are hearing this music and re-interpreting it in new and interesting ways, so there's only one old skool track on this mix, and a modern take on another.

Forged in late 89 sweatboxes in Manchester...But it ain't where you're from, it's where you're at.
