Rayniel Rufino also known as Rubi Rosa is an artist from NY. Born to an artistic family, he was introduced to the arts at a very young age. With a passion for knowledge and understanding he quickly began to write about his personal struggles, experiences and creative ideas. Son of an artistic painter (Mother) he expressed his gift by drawing with words. Some of his musical influences are Tupac Shakur, Marvin Gaye, Nas, Lauryn Hill, Bob Marley to name a few. In High School Rubi Rosa fell in love with acting and quickly after booked a series of Commercials, TV shows and Films. (More Info below). Rubi Rosa is currently recording a project named "4u & Urs" slated to release fall 2013.

ACTING
Rayniel Rufino is an actor & musician raised in the Washington Heights in New York City. From his early youth to today, Rayniel has pursued his passion for acting.  His debut film was LIBERTY KID (Media Luna) followed up by his striking performance in SUGAR (HBO).  Most recently, Rayniel will star in BIODEGRADABLE directed by Juan Basanta and shot on location in the Dominican Republic.  In addition to starring in TROUBLE IN THE HEIGHTS, Rayniel contributed to songs to the film's soundtrack including the end title song, "A New Day".
