..super-honoured to be included in the 333 Sessions series amongst the hot names and quality flavours. it’s been really ace to get a sky-gazing mix together. I thought of the journey of a creek, through eddies and stillness, opening wide, glistening sun reflections, turbulence through rock, babbling under foliage. hopefully a bit of imagery got woven into the mix but essentially its deep and lush, like a good shagpile.. and a huge thanks to all the music makers, the dreamers of dreams..

Boom Festival for me has always be such an incredible place for transformation. I have attended the event every 2 years since 2008 and every single time I under go a life and career change. 2010 i played in the Iboga BOOM bar, 2012 I was lucky enough to play an impromptu  5hours at the Alchemy Circle on a Wednesday afternoon " this changed my life". This year I was honoured to be offered 3 hours on the Sunday afternoon one set before the close. 

How does one prepare for a set of this magnitude???.....Especially after the people of BOOMs ears and minds have been exploring the infinite possibility of the psychedelic realms for close to 7 days. Although it proved to be somewhat of a challenge it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my DJing career so far. Thanks to Manu & Artur for enabling this. 

To all the BOOMers thank you for dancing and all the wonderful feedback and support it means so much to hear your stories from the dance floor. Please enjoy part 2 of the mix the last couple of tracks are not there due to the sound desk being fried.

Cross & Avocado:

Duo Infernale bestehend aus dem Kölner Produzenten Cross (@theoneandonlycross) alias Luki und dem DJ Avocado (@avocadoofficial) alias Stefan, der sich mit seinen energetischen Sets als Resident DJ im Kölner Odonien und Bookings wie dem Panama Festival, SonneMondSterne oder den Katermukke Showcases längst über die Stadtgrenzen Kölns hinweg einen Namen gemacht hat.

Die beiden Freunde lernten sich 2013 kennen, als Avocado im Odonien Bus eines seiner berüchtigten 6 Stunden-Sets ablieferte. Als sie feststellten, dass sie musikalisch ähnliche Vorstellungen haben, war das Projekt Cross & Avocado schnell beschlossene Sache. Nach 5 Jahren wohnen die beiden nun beide fest in ihrer Wahlheimat Köln und treiben ihr Projekt mit Leidenschaft voran - jeder beherrscht sein Handwerk und Stück für Stück auch das des anderen. Und die gemeinsame Arbeit trägt Früchte: schon mit dem ersten gemeinsamen Track "Artificial Life" schafften es die beiden auf den Radar des Berliner Labels Criminal Bassline (@criminalbassline), künstlerische Heimat von Artists wie Mike Book, DirrtyDishes oder Daniel Jaeger. Im Mai 2019 haben die beiden ihre erste gemeinsame EP auf Klexos Records released - mit dem gleichen Namen wie ihr club-erprobter Kracher 'Savior'.

I am thrilled to share my Burning Seed set atop the Coco Poco Loco artcar, upgraded this year and fully kitted out with bigger sound and better lampshades than ever before.

The first section of this set was played on the move as we departed our SynCity home and roamed the paddock. We then set up for an incredible afternoon at Red Earth Brewery for our "Home Brewed House Beats" day-party.

Great vibes and lots of fun-times in the sunshine.

I am so pleased to share my performance from this year's Burning Man Virtual Festival - The Multiverse.

Incorporating live electric cello, electric violin, pads and mixing, this is a Playa-inspired journey that exposes the inner workings of my mind and soul at present day. I have found myself completely spun out by the rollercoaster that is 2020 but it is music and its community that has kept me from losing myself altogether. 

Burning Man, you are more than just a physical realm of pure magic, you're a philosophy that has helped guide me to be greater and it is truly an honour to be involved once again.

Rubi Chantel is an well known DJ from Oslo (Norway). And she had her DJ debut in 2015. She has already played at numerous clubs and events such as; Elefant, Mona Lisa Huset, Skuret, Desteny, Club Skansen, Musikkfest Oslo, Sollihagen, Escape Reality, Open Air Oslo etc. and numerous underground events with focus on house and techno!. She also has her own Techno concept 'Krankenhaus'.
In 2017 she was booked to Burning Man Week. Her style is variable where she mixes dark and hard Techno, with playful and melodic sounds, minimal, Deep-tech and Acid. Expect some cheeky rhythms and lot's of bass.
