written in ashs' high in the sky low ceilinged sun bathed attic bedroom,on one of the snowman from Elfs' prettiest guitars i think ever..recorded a few or two or so days later by timmy martin in his parents back yard barn studio off windy bush rd..matt and den in attendance drunk 38 minutes 5 tracks straight to tape..,that's him 'huh haaaa' laughin in classic tim martin fashion always gassin er gassed at the end..it wasn't till months later i guess after he passed that i started for really realizing and realized just how big a part of my life he'd become and was,and just how big a piece of me that he took with him when he left..and somehow still after all all this time and life how it goes and goes and goes that feeling of missing him and wishing he was here right next to me hasn't lessened or or gotten any easier to feel or handle,on the contrary it's only grown stronger and more poignant with every day that passes with every memory of laughing our asses off or teaming up on some dumb shit fills my head..
sometimes i'll scrub to the end and pick out his ass hat laugh just loop it long in a section and sit and listen to it for ever,
knowing the sound is something i could never forget ever but for whatever reason once in awhile i think forever afraid somehow that i will.
it was second time my heart broke wide open in close to as many years..
  and first time i think it was ever broken for good.
