"Airbnd is a Manchester based DJ from Preston who loves scouting around for records. Regular at Sammy’s Bar as well as at Preston’s In:Libra he shares a passion for radio. In recent months he’s hosted shows on Noods, as well as provided a guest mix for “Kickin’ Pigeon’s Galactic Bounce” on NTS. Unhappy settling on a particular style or genre anything pretty much goes within his sets. He enjoys playing for longer periods of time and thrives of sharing the decks with friends and new people!

An hour of Italo disco, bouncy house and synth fuelled rhythms to accompany you as the seasons change and an air of hope for a potential third summer of love fills the country. A mix written and recorded back in May 2020 with still quite a naive outlook on the length of the pandemic, the mix was recorded to accompany the near ending of the pandemic, however little did I expect what the year to come held. Now in a position where the mix being released could really be truly reflective of the current time, it feels fitting to share something I am hugely proud of."

Remmah returns to Ireland, as Rory Hamilton aka @thehammerhits welcomes a 9th label release, as the Derry duo consisting of Dave Lievense and Stephen Porter aka @opusklien drop their brand new Aeronautic EP.

Dave Lievense and Stephen Porter have spent years honing hard-won reputations for quality on their own projects before linking up to form Opus Klien, with Lievense best known as one half of Hotflush, Planet E and Cocoon-affiliated outfit Psycatron, and Porter building one of Ireland’s most highly regarded events series, Jika Jika!

Having made a mark with a pair of remixes and a run of thunderous live performances, including regular appearances at The Warehouse Project and dates supporting Daniel Avery and Dense & Pika, the Aeronautic EP finds the Irish duo’s debut EP mining both their shared acid house and bleep techno influences, and the electronic pop & avant garde music of their youth.

The resultant four tracks ride waves of euphoria and intensity that made them a perfect fit for the cosmic techno/italo/acid-infused sound Hammer has established in his curation of the label so far – making an appearance himself with his own sharp & to-the-point reshaping of Monsters.

Damiano von Erckert’s ‘The Past The Future’ lands on Aus music this November perfectly in time for the winter season. TPTPTF is Damiano’s third studio album and sees him perfectly balancing rave euphoria with more cuddly intimate moments moving effortlessly from deep Detroit techno to the spacious kraut sounds associated with his homeland. ‘The Past The Future’ has depth substance and timelessness all packaged beautifully by design and art legend Eike Koenig.

The Dekmantel Selectors compilation series is set to continue with a highly anticipated edition curated by Joy Orbison. First announced in 2015 when the Selectors project was unveiled, the fourth compilation in the series finds the singular UK talent curating a sort of tribute to his home country and its rich musical history.

Like many of us, Joy Orbison (a.k.a. Peter O'Grady) is a product of his environment. Based in London, he's keenly aware of the UK's unique musical landscape and the role it's played in shaping his own artistic vision. Growing up, the sounds of garage, jungle and dubstep all made an impression on him, but O'Grady knows that the roots of this music go back much further. "Soundsystem culture is a thread that runs through almost everything here," he says. "It's had a huge effect on me, sometimes without me even knowing it."

In keeping with previous Selectors compilations, O'Grady's contribution to the series is not a mix CD, but a collection of hand-picked tracks from his own archives. Touching on everything from shuffling garage and loopy techno to booming jungle and a number of distinctly British hybrids, it's a diverse collection to be sure, but O'Grady prefers to focus on what ties these tracks together. "We're a lot more focused on BPM and genre these days," he says, "but I can honestly say that didn't really cross my mind while I was compiling this. In my mind, all these tracks have a lot in common."

"What I do is a direct result of this music and I'm indebted to the sociological factors that brought it to life," explains O’Grady. "The UK at its best is a celebration of diverse cultures intertwining and creating beautiful results. Hopefully this collection of music can document a piece of that. Now more than ever, it seems important to acknowledge and celebrate this."

Follow Ruby May Moon down his sensory lane, a garden path of eclectic dance styles and pop mannerisms wrapped in a chill sensibility that lovingly informs his productions and DJ sets.

The healing and unifying power of music uplifts our Ruby. It’s a feeling foraged from a hedonistic youth spent growing up in Sydney playing drums, dancing and dropping dubstep at house parties then further nurtured via his co-founding of the revered CLUTCH4LOVE collective and party series; collectively formative experiences that bind his current artistic vision. Naturally, he next turned his hand to music making and from that his sound of honest rap-influenced reverence with a hefty percussive framework started to trickle through online. After honing his audible craft down under, he now resides in Rotterdam where he’s leaning all-in on music; locked and ready to pervade his new home-away-from-home with his inimitable voice.

His self-released missives, including last year’s eclectic Ruby May Moments EP, and his forthcoming works display an emotional resonance with the varying dance sounds of the world paired with a keen love of popular culture. His production-making abilities allow him to truly make whatever he likes, but always with a measure of love and heart. His DJ sets explore his influences further, threading wildly diverse musical styles together to create a distinctly unique narrative that sets Ruby out from the rest. Mixes for NTS Radio, Rinse FM, Radio Radio and Netil Radio coupled with his regular appearances at Café Bakeliet in Rotterdam highlight this best.

Ruby May Moon is as sweet as he sounds, a crucially plush alternative to the mundane and a necessary injection of positivity into the dance world.
