Rawk

Black Fern is MistahMath's new instrumental single for this month. This piece of music came about when he was sketching beats to send to his and emcee Just's collaboration. Since Just chose another beat for their project, MistahMath thought he could do this too and have as a second release this month. The beat developed a bit more during the time he worked in parallel with their other projects and now it's time to release it as February's instrumental release.

Black Fern is a laid-back jazzy production with laziness in the drum beat and a soundscape that goes between boombap and lofi hip hop. With both sampled and self-played elements, this is a beat that brings to mind calm walks in the city environment or early mornings with your freshly brewed morning coffee. Enjoy

A year ago I started a project which meant that I would try to release an instrumental single every month for the rest of the year. It all started with the track "The Railway" which I released on 30th November 2021. Today, 28th November 2022 I release my 12th track "Abundance" and thus complete my goal.

I want to take the opportunity to thank everyone who supported me by listening, sharing and commenting on my releases. This is just the beginning of my journey and now I'm entering a new phase in my music making. I hope you will continue to support me and help me grow in the future.
