He played a magical set for Carl Craig and his superlative 20 Years of Planet E showcase, whilst also playing countless closing sets at Space after Derrick May, James Zabiela, Visionquest, The Chemical Brothers and Joris Voorn.

Gigs at the UK’s finest establishments have included Fabric, Glastonbury festival, Manchester’s Warehouse Project and Sankeys, Leeds’ unrivalled house music soiree BacktoBasics and the internationally renowned Ministry of Sound in London, with global turns in China, Croatia, Hungary, Switzerland, Slovenia, the US and many more. Every dancefloor has been ridiculously responsive to the Haynes trademark sound, where house and techno collide in a furious frenzy.

Whenever or where ever you encounter RaHis, all of his musical frequential magic, will contain percussive vibes that are received in such a way by the audience, that it will make them get in such a state of happiness keeping their bodies moving with maximum enjoyment, forgetting their day to day life, while healing themselves. Especially when the audience opens up to receive the healing frequencies heard and felt, that are transferred via whatever sound system.

On this week’s Cadenza Music Source to Cycle podcast, we welcome a British DJ who has played a hugely pivotal part in house music’s development since the late 1980s.

Eddie Richards has been described as “Britain’s godfather of house & techno” by the clubbing magazine Mixmag, cutting his teeth on the London DJ circuit at the legendary Camden Palace in the 80s, and at important clubs like Clink Street and Heaven in London, and the Hacienda in Manchester.  One of the first DJs to ever champion house music, Eddie was a firm favourite on the UK rave scene, and over the years has become widely recognized as one of the founders of the often misinterpreted genre of tech-house.  Alongside Terry Francis and Nathan Coles, Eddie has been an integral part of the Wiggle nights for over 20 years now and also plays regularly at Fabric in London, as well as clubs all over the world.

Eddie also been producing right from the start of the house explosion, his Jolly Roger moniker released blueprint acid house in 1988/1989, and he’s consistently released records ever since.
