Rudiwu makeke was born and raised in Mtongwe west beach Kali Mombasani (mtw)before moving to Mtwapa town (mtp).Is a Kenyan emcee,song writer and video director,founder of hiphop group Makeke family. Started music early 1996 under producer Andrew Butchel (Madebe)from German.Rudiwu spent his time not only in rap but also teaching a class of hiphop Lawama,guiding and counseling, peer educator and encourage people not to leave the African roots and culture.Rudiwu means (Rabuka ulotuleta duniani wema wako utukuzwe)God who brought us in this world be praised and worshiped. Makeke means(action).In mid 1996 Ridiwu Makeke formed the Mombasa (coastal region part of Kenya)based rap group Makeke family which represent hiphop heads all over the world and champion for poor people rights and justice,along with family friends; Cliff chi,Ommyzzan,Nature b,Osama,Mashdem,and his brother Mc Delight. 
In 2004 the group released their debut album entitled Makeke anthem talking about their hood Mtongwe west beach kali activities , lifestyle and culture .It proved to be a commercial success largely due to the well known single,Mzee Buraji produced by Andrew Madebe(Jikoni studio).In 2005 Makeke family won the award East africa Distrack masters after giving the single track Bably msenge of tabasam records, producer,manager and events organiser Rudiwu Makeke was considered the most lyrically skilled and anticipated member of the group and usually appeared mostly in the first verse of their songs.Both fans and critics alike took interest in Rudiwu Makeke gritty ,violent,angry and story telling lyrics which went right along with his loud attention grabbing voice. Aside from his hiphop lawama style ,Rudiwu Makeke is also known to be very intelligent and displays a mean spirited sense of humour in his verses .Since then he has released two other albums with Makeke family as well as one solo album.Other than that Rudiwu makeke has recorded 62 unreleased singles solo project.He released his debut album in 2012 which was titled Panda meli(cruise the ship).The album was critical success being noted as very creative in story line though it did not gain much commercial recognition despite featuring well known artists such as; Nyota Ndogo,Ukoo Flani,Chzn Brain,Prudence,Johny skani,cannibal,Andrew Madebe.He has also collaborated with various artists including Escobar,Funkiss,Leon,Nje,Mizani,Ric,Godzilla,Janja Weed,Amuka sasa,Mwaka and more.Mwanajeshi is the next album which will be released soon featuring several artists from East Africa and America.
