This is my first mix of 2011, consisting of mostly progressive house but verging on trance in a few places(!). It's called Barcelona because we're off to Barcelona and Sitges in less than 3 weeks time for a wedding afterparty yay! All the best to T & M (the happy couple).

It's a guitar folk song filled with excitement and seriousness, a dynamic piece of pop history that echoed through the fields of many a festival and sold out gig. Released in 1996 against the backdrop of a fading grunge era and rising South African house and rave scene, 'Just' was the soundtrack to the highs & lows of a generation. It was voted no.1 by 5fm on their SA top 40 for 2001.

Honest About It - Andy Marshall & Rudi Simon Remix

As requested, here's a mix of the tracks I played at Cameron's "Fabio" party on 31st Jan 2015 (minus tracks that were already on my Cape Town NYE mix, or on other friend's mixes e.g. @TylerSouth).

This was a house party so be warned - it gets fairly commercial! It's 2-and-a-half hours long, there's a good hour of warmup/setup so should be good for the start of a party, but if you just want to get on it then skip to 00:53ish.

A progressive house mix going from laid back to banging and back again featuring lots of Anjunadeep, Sasha & Solumun.

I made the first Daytime mix in 2013 and it became one of my most played mixes so it was overdue an update in 2018.

Spent quite a bit of time making this cover version of the beautiful, downtempo "Need You" by @alliexandra and @valleygirlmusic (I hope neither of them mind being covered!). I've made it a bit housier while still hopefully retaining the emotion of the original.

Prepare to be transported to a galaxy far far away. This deep-to-progressive-to-tech layered (getit?) mix returns to my original optimacy objective of focussing on melodic spacey house music. It might seem a bit too deep for some to start off with but stick with it, things get more up-tempo a few tracks in.

I'm especially proud of this mix because I've managed to fit it in around a heavy work schedule.
