Auf seinem Soloalbum A GUITAR NAMED CARLA, 2015 jazzwerkstatt jw157 spielt Rüdiger Krause eine verrückt romantische Hommage an die große Carla Bley auf akustischen und elektrischen Gitarren. Auf "Lawns" spielen Carla Bley (p) und Steve Swallow (b) im Trio mit Rüdiger.

I am a Leipzig/Berlin-based jazz guitarist and composer.  My sideman work includes the Bands of Günther Fischer and Esther Kaiser. I also love to share the stage with my guitar mates Ian Melrose and Nikos Tsiachris. One of my all-time heroes is Carla Bley. I recorded her music arranged for  solo electric and acoustic guitars, released on my album A Guitar Named Carla (jazzwerkstatt jw157, release date 15/May/2015) My new album PARALLEL REAL is going to be released in Oct 2023
