Little sample based ( <3 Billie Holiday <3 ) hip hop beat I made like 3 or 4 years ago. Havent had it uploaded on soundcloud for a long time so I figured it would be a nice thing to do. A little repetitive, but it's definitely one of those loops I could listen to for days on end and never get tired of it. I've gotten more positive feedback on this beat than most things I've ever done, I like to play it at the very end of a late night close out set right as the lights are turning on to put everybody in an nice mood. Ruff Draft has gained the ears and respect by those who nod there heads to the journey of his space jazz vibes--RuffDraft keeps it no secret that his sound is highly influenced by the instrumental magician of sound Flying Lotus. But make no mistakes about Ruff-Draft's sound, though production influences such as Flying Lotus, J-Dilla, and MF Doom, can be heard in RuffDraft's melodies, his compositions live in a space all of their own.
