Euphonique returns to Ruffneck Ting with guns blazing on her explosive track “Badder” featuring the fiery vocals of Manchester rapper Bam Bam. Whilst brimming with feisty female attitude, it maintains the upbeat, bass-heavy fusion of jungle and jump-up, synonymous with the label, mashing up the dancefloor with an intensely catchy vocal and insane drop.

Known for her unique system-shaking sets at festivals and clubs internationally, Euphonique has grown from strength to strength building a catalogue of outstanding releases on influential DNB labels including Hospital, Born On Road, Hotcakes, Dread and of course Ruffneck Ting. Her music has achieved a string of DL number ones and support from all the major players in DNB as well as regular features on leading platforms including UKF, Kool FM and Dnb Allstars

Euphonique introduces Bam Bam to the label for the first time, a singer and rapper who has been honing her skills on the Manchester drum and bass live scene since 2015. Her debut release “Without You’ on Dread recordings marked the beginning of their musical partnership, demonstrating a deep and edgy song writing and performance talent. Bam Bam switches up in “Badder” to a cheeky, confident, yet endearing attitude which, in her words aims to "empower all that are badass….especially the women."

“Badder” is presented as the first single from Ruffneck Tings’ third XLJ series album, and marks the beginning of celebrations of the pioneering jungle brands’s 30th year in the business of all things jungle & dnb.

Fryday’s debut ep on Ruffneck TIng drops with a bang with five tracks of explosive energy including remixes by Ruffneck Ting regular, K Jah and label boss Dazee. Full fat from start to finish and smashing dancefloors and festivals through early support from some of the scenes most prestigious artists, this ep is set to establish Fryday as one of the most promising newco¬¬¬mers on the dnb scene 

Bristol born & bred, Fryday’s career began with a bittersweet debut behind the decks at a friends memorial. Since then he has made waves in the local scene playing regular sets at Motion, Lakota, Old Crown Courts, to name a few, plus regular slots on Ruffneck Ting Shows, including Boomtown, SWU and Koolfm

Fryday’s ep kicks off with the title track, “Invasion” where discordant stabs and a voice sample warning of alien life, set the sci-fi B-movie styling of the ep. Crisp and clear production and a steppy catchy b-line bring dancefloors to life, perfectly representing the jungle/jump up hybrid sound, synonymous with the label 

Up next, “Jack it” comes as a fierce retaliation against the alien invasion. Sombre pads create tension before the intense pummelling bassline drops with razor sharp drums and percussion to destroy the dancefloor  

K Jah is called for remix duty next and takes “invasion” to another dimension with a monster sweeping bassline, with dramatic embellishments, crisp beats and flickering effects. Immediately file this in your “K jah classics” folder and draw on any crowd, anytime for instant bassface pleasure

Next up, Fryday’s “Pull” is an instant hit on the floor achieving massive reactions, with its uncluttered hyper-bubbly sound. Dark pads and effects create the drama before the infectious b-line bops and bubbles and scornfully retaliates against anything those pesky Aliens try to pull.

Finally, battle over, Dazee brings us back to earth with her melodic take on “Invasion”. Ethereal lo-fi pads and trumpets capture us floating in space, then dramatic sweeping and undulating basses fire us back under a hard drum rhythm, punctuated by classic breaks.
