Following her debut album on Aus in 2020, Berlin’s Cinthie marks another milestone in her career delivering the latest instalment of the esteemed DJ-Kicks compilation series for !K7 Records.

Ruff Stuff - Trim On (Dirty V)

Italian producer Ruff Stuff - which has already released on labels like !K7, Shall Not Fade, Sloth Boogie, Madhouse - returns with a self produced record on his Ruff Stuff Music label.

The EP is a solid mixture of tracks showcasing 2 sides of the producer's sound: the more dancefloor oriented one on the A Side vs the deeper and housier one on the B side.

Each of the tracks expresses in its unique way Ruff's own style and inspiration: the A side is composed by DJ tools, with 'High Club Alive' inspired by French Touch and the deeper 'Badass Groove’.

On the B side you will find more complex arrangements, more brainy tunes, with a definite House and Acid vibe.

This is a truly masterful combination of tunes by Ruff Stuff.
One for the dance floor. One for the heads.

The Italian Berlin Based Ruff Stuff lands on this is not records with a banger track.
Morale is clearly reflecting what "House music" means, the 90's drums in combination with a melodic arpeggio and a strong “Detroit” chord creates something which smashes definitely the dance floor. Alongside “Morale” our residents Alfa Cornae (aka Marco Dassi) and we.amps dropped two crazy and well-structured remix that highlight the original while maintaining its own strong style.

Ruff Stuff teams up with Bress Underground for a long awaited return to SB... a new collection of Deep House tracks of the highest order from these Italian House Heads. Foundations is a steam roller of a track calling on Ruff Stuff’s love for Mr.G, with some tasty French House accents adding a nice funk factor. Sliding Sine makes us wanna go felt pelt on an Autobahn with its rich bass stabs under late night synth echoes with tough drum programming.

Bress Underground comes aboard to collab on the next two tracks and makes his presence felt. The Community is a punchy gospel House cut with crackling vocal samples and trippy chord patterns. Something About It closes the EP with expertly chopped vocals and jacked out grooves, more catchy chords, and some irresistible rolllllling London style bass.

Two longtime friends originally hailing from Boston, Synare is an up-and-coming production/DJ duo based out of Tokyo that focuses on re-evoking the raw spirit and attitude of 90s House and Electronic music through a modernised lens. Their productions and DJ sets often span a wide variety of influences including classic East Coast House, UKG, Rave, and Garage House, and can be heard making their mark on Tokyo’s burgeoning house music scene. Their debut Glitter Rock EP was released on Chilean label Houbless Music in the fall of 2019, with upcoming releases on the way for 2020 as well.

The Italian born, Berlin based Gianfranco Barnaba is the mind behind Ruff Stuff.  He have rocked up on a host on different labels, including !K7, Shall Not Fade, Madhouse Records, Suol, Sloth Boogie and STEP Recordings. 
However, it's the work on his own label, the aptly names Ruff Stuff Music Ltd, for which he’s arguably best renowned.

Grew up during the ‘90’s electronic wave, firstly as clubber and then as DJ and vinyl enthusiast, in the mid-2000s he decided to start produce electronic music. The first steps were moved on the Idm and Ambient territories, driven by his love for ethereal melodies and intricate broken beats.

The shift to House happened after re-discovering different classic records hidden in his collection. 
From here the idea to create a music project focused on representing the vibes of the old-school House, Techno and Garage with a propensity to find the newest, freshest sounds. 

Rough samples, hypnotic melodies, groovy beats and vocals are the main ingredients that marks the Ruff Stuff’s sound.

Addicted to Electro, Deep House, Acid, Techno for many years. Open also to good Indie, Punk, Gothic...
