After a very successful debut VA earlier this year -- supported internationally by Job Jobse, Roza Terenzi, Anz, and Gearmaster -- Flip The Lid returns with its second release: Rolly Bump Vol 2; an expansive VA compilation that dives deeper into the progressive underground. Where the first release focused tightly on progressive house and trance, FTL002 embraces a broader sonic spectrum -- tracing a line from groove-heavy house through to high-energy progressive trance, even venturing into goa and psy-inspired territory... The result is a boundary-stretching, club-ready collection that still holds true to the label's deep, proggy core. Featuring contributions from both established underground names and rising talent across the globe, this compilation reflects the label's growing global network and its continued focus on genre-pushing, artist-led music.

Adding to the package is the return of designer TTRCL with another standout artwork, whose abstract visual style perfectly mirrors the release's off-center club energy -- striking, textural, and instantly recognisable.

Arizona-based producer Kareem Ali (@kmx19) returns with 'Renewal', his second EP on @noireblanche - a luminous blend of deep house, jazz, and Afrofuturism that captures both personal and collective transformation.

From the heart of Berlin's Midnight Operators, Sarah Wild's "Afterglow" pours piano-laced euphoria straight into the communal bloodstream of the dancefloor. This is the sound of a memory being made in real-time, where a warm, propulsive bassline vibrates through the crowd and a shimmering hook catches the light just right, weaving its optimism through the atmosphere. It’s a steady, climbing energy built for shared elevation, promising that the best moments are always ahead, that the peak is never truly over. And waiting in the wings, the Vhyce remix holds the key to the after-hours, a shadowy flip side to this radiant coin.

For his take on "Afterglow," Belgian producer Vhyce channels the relentless momentum of his busy 2025 – a year already stacked with originals, collaborations, and remixes for a curated roster of labels from Epicure, Saint Vaast, and Feinstoff to Critical Monday and Jane Musica. He expertly steers the track into deeper, more progressive territory, crafting a late-night narrative that retains the original's heart. The acidic edges are softened, making way for a mere pinch of disco that infuses the track with a subtle flavour and a hint of glitter. This is a refined, hypnotic version that relocates the track's soul to a more intimate, groove-focused corner of the dance floor.

With his new record "Balearic Dreamdance", Maltitz returns you to a time when House music first spread it's wings. A 6 track record that channels the hedonistic spirit of the late 80s and early 90s, a sound that has soundtracked endless summers drifting between sun-drenched euphoria and a more hypnotic late-night mindset. This record is the artists sonic postcard of Mediterranean bliss.

"La Isla Selini" opens with playful charm, it's the carefree energy of a summer anthem reimagined through Maltitz’s uniquely sun-kissed lens. "Hot Summer 2023", co-produced with Selina, captures the hazy beauty of an afterhours in Ibiza. Strangely intimate warmth, dreamy focus and the lingering feeling of the first rays of light over the sea. Closing up the first half of the record "Valentines Island" drops into pure nostalgia, a 90s-style piano hymn built for timeless dancefloor moments you may or may not remember clearly.

On the flip side Maltitz works it a little deeper, "Marabu Beach" and "Café Saganaki" reveal the club-driven core of the record. These tracks weave dub techno textures and echoes of 90s techno into the Balearic mist. To close things out we have a remix from NY Stomp, a fitting addition to the record who's inspiration now spans the Atlantic, their remix of "Wax n Tax" folds classic House muscle into Maltitz’s palette, trading seaside sway for sidewalk strut.

Together, the tracks form a journey that feels both like a memory and a promise: the endless summer lives on.

Wobbling low-end flows beneath poignant atmospheres, and charismatic leads shimmer against mutant breaks. k:i:o:s:k's rigid polyrhythms melt into Undrwght's swinging grooves and together they crack open to reveal a glowing, elemental, shape-shifting magical force.

"Obsidiana" serves as a metaphor here: a volcanic glass, which mirrors the moment when two realities touch. Inside an open portal, this connection forms music that breathes heat, hardens into shape, then fractures and scatters into new ground.
