It's been a while since I recorded some mix.
This one feels like I am back to Life. Listening to music and starting to perform in front of people is a blessing in this complex context. I couldn't help myself to choose some meaningful track reflecting the emotions of the moment and the frustration as regards to politics and environmental issues.

Back To Life

I have heard once that some of my friends listened to my mixes to make love.
I really love the idea and wanted to dedicate them a new mix that I have specially created for the act. 
There are many ways of making love, this is one version of it.
I kept the track voluntary with low BPM to express the depth of it and to keep it rising through the mix.
Tracks themselves express already an emotion and you will find there some hints as well.
The idea came actually beginning of 2021 when we were deep in the covid, the mix was supposed to be more caricatural, funny at that time.
Time and selection made their work.
I, finally, kept the idea heading towards more profoundness.
I hope you will see in it my intentions and my ultimate goal.
Let me know if this is a good set to make love. 

There is always a sparkle, an event that triggers love.
Once closed and attraction is mutually recognized, future lovers set things up and create a dedicated framework and intimate scenery.
Desire keeps on calling and comes stronger.
Bodies are getting closer, touch each other.
Lovers hope to get to the other level, the desire intensifies.
They give it some time and enjoy the instant.
Souls are naked, time is stopped, world belong to them.
The bond is creating and intensifying.
Passion kicks in. 
Restless envy and desire of continuously making love to your partner.
Lovers return to the origins of their essence and abandon themselves to each other, challenging one another to bringing them to the upper stage. 
Powerful orgasm is shared.
Lovers engage on an exploration and uncouscious path towards each other,  the loving virtuous circle has started.

The first set of the year named after the sculpture "El bon temps perseguint la tempesta" (Fenosa) dedicated to transition periods leading to increased serenity and happiness.
The conception of this set has started back in September in le Pré du son festival with the discovery of the music of Luigi Tozzi. The recent events in my life have done the rest with its lots of cycle, apertures and decisions.
I have created this playlist in my family house in Ile de Ré, a place where I can re energise.  
It talks about Origin, Spain, Love, Introspection, Transitions, Emotions, Intuition and Signs.

2023 has been a great year at Greyscale. It has been productive, exciting and rewarding all the same. We wouldn't be anywhere without the artists and the fans that have made the label what it is. Thank you! We wish everyone happy holidays in 2023 and let's make 2024 a great one. Our final release for 2023 sees the long-awaited return of Audhentik to the label but this time featured on #105 of the Mood Series. "Dusk & Dawn" comprises 5 separate tracks that each then have an alternate ambient version that embellishes the original. 'Magnitude' soars briskly in the upper stratosphere with hazy and shimmering high-end effects that wonderfully offsets the up-beat techy rhythm. This can certainly be the pinnacle of a deep grooving dancefloor set if played properly. 'Afterglow' is yet another strong groover that we have a hard time not repeating. It is the quintessential crowd mover in any proper club. It is a sound that you just wish would go on and on. Do not miss 'Blue Hour' as it rises from the depths to provide the scintillating and very ideal tech workout. 'Noctilucent Clouds' and 'Belt of Venus' are the most low-slung tracks of the bunch with a deep-rooted dub feel. These have us feeling most ire. The second half of the program explores deeper, beatless moments of each main track. We particularly like that they aren't just beatless versions but each one explores a more organic, melodic or processed approach that expands upon and fills out the album nicely. We are glad to have Audhentik back and what a way to close out 2023!! Thank you all again for your relationship to Greyscale. Please help us spread the sound further in 2024! "Dusk & Dawn" is released on digital.

This is the set I played at the beginning of the party from 2 to 3:30 right after MoNNé's warmup, the public was coming in slowly, I stayed in the same vibes for a few tracks and then move on progressively into the night. I loved it and I thank everyone who was there dancing and enjoying the moment.

Sol Selectas is a label run by US artist Sabo, and the label matches his deep and tribal sound. The artwork is designed by his fiancé Helia Jamali, and is carefully created to visualize the individual sound of each release.

Not afraid to take risks, Sol Selectas music policy has always pushed the boundaries, and although its roster includes a number of established artists such as UNER, Acid Pauli, Blond:ish, Be Svendsen and of course Sabo himself, the label also provides a platform for new and underexposed artists of exceptional talent.

This new Sol Selectas release is one such example of Sol Selectas discovering a diamond in the rough and presents the debut solo release from Kincaid who's a young London based producer.

Kincaid has previously worked in collaboration with Sinal and together they have featured on labels such as Eloments, Nie Wieder Schlafen, Of Unsound Mind and Sense Trax, but this is his first official solo outing and it’s a fantastic debut.

Featured on the EP are three uniquely original tracks, each one taking us on an immersive journey. With each of the songs having a melodic groove rich with melody and tribal percussion that’s trademark of the Sol Selectas sound.

“TFLLFT” refers to the artist's personal experience on public transport in London where an extended journey on the Tube (London Underground) made him feel he had lost a part of his soul, but giving him time to sit and think, he found an inner happiness of long forgotten memories.
