Created as gifts for Nils Frahm and given to him in Portland on September 30th, 2012.

No computers were used when creating these remixes - 
the computer was solely used to record these digital tracks from the master tape.

4-track cassette looping system.

written in response to an email from a friend who wanted people to write a lullaby for a poorly child in 24 hours.

Healing

i cut through the plasticine shells
and stretched its entrails around its three heads

fm radio frequencies recorded at the time and place indicated above. 
recorded to 1/8" cassette tape.
cassette tape audio transferred to digital.
cassette tape then dismantled; 1/8" tape pasted in strips onto 20"x20" paper.
altered tape head used to play back audio on tape. 
fx pedal used to enhance sounds with delay + reverb.

pieces of digital transfer, both processed with granular synthesis and raw & untouched, added to mix.
