Such is undoubtedly the case with our next guest, Laura BCR. Based in Berlin and taking her name from the now-defunct Bass Cadet Records shop, Laura has been making a name for herself over the past 5 years with her exquisite ear for curation. Whether it be with her otherworldly label, On Board Music, her beguiling DJ sets, or the events she curates as a resident of Het Magazijn, she always manages to bring the right elements into harmony so that they can flourish to their full potential. All of this, of course, makes her a natural fit for UNRUSH. So let the summer breeze pass over you and dive into this placid ocean of music from Laura BCR.

On Board is proud to present its newest project, ’The Meaning of Time’ - a 23-track compilation exploring the rift and alteration in time perception global health crisis that’s crippled all sides of our societies has engaged amongst artists and creators. The dedicated goal of this charity V/A is both to document this very special time in our lives and serve as a means of solidarity when most of us out there are struggling to make a living. Content wise, and true to the essence of our vision as a label, the music mainly spans the techno and ambient spectrums, with original content. 50% of the benefits from the sales will go to the involved artists, whilst the remaining 50% will be donated to Sea-Watch - a German NGO that rescues migrants in the Mediterranean, notably by commissioning rescue ships.

!nertia is a sonic artist who pushes the boundaries of sound. His work explores the motion of sound through an instinctive way of working; he makes field recordings and then he extracts movement out of natural sounds, afterwards, he combines this sounds into live electronics through the journey of inertia, creating a smooth and organic blend, fusing two different worlds into one. This unique approach results into emotional and hypnotic art works, which mutate into performances to experience his narrative sound in diverse multi sensorial ways. His live electronic performances have different shapes like art exhibitions and sound installations. !nertia often collaborates with other artist from different disciplines like Graphic Designers, Fine Artists, Tattoo Artist, Musicians and Composers.

For this week's edition we are happy to feature Eafhm hailing from Mexico. Eafhm is a multidisciplinary project created recently by the evolution of different artistic and exploratory stages.

The project has developed different facets, including a career as an interpreter and audio producer when experimenting with a wide variety of musical sequences. It seeks the integration of oscillating interpersonal ideas among the variety of solid conceptions. 

Eafhm has released on labels such as Concepto Hipnotico, Healed Wounds and his own Secuencias Temporales. Enjoy.

Rui G. 's musical path starts off like that of many DJs of our days, looking for their place in the sun. What distinguishes him is his insatiable research and desire to explore different horizons of electronics, to overcome himself as a storyteller and a creator of sound narratives. Year after year, party after party, his interest in electronics grew stronger and deeper, and in 2009 he debuts definitively in the 'dancefloor' as a DJ. Only two years later, in 2011, Rui G accepted the invitation to join the collective Elements, a renowned platform dedicated to electronics, based in Coimbra. This association was an important step in his musical journey, with invitations to play in some of the events and clubs with more tradition in the Techno scene, between Coimbra and Porto, along with well known DJs whom he admires, such as: David Rodrigues, Nelson Flip, A .Paul, The Advent, Deepbass, Brando Lupi, Nobody Home, NTOGN, BLNDR, Antigone, Dorian Gray, Freddy K and Henning Baer.
Talented, curious, ambitious, committed to crossing musical boundaries and improving his technical skills, his sets invite to a sensorial journey beyond preconceived ideas of genre. Most recently he was present at events in Lisbon, Germany and the Czech Republic.

Nos últimos tempos, tem marcado presença em clubes de referência como o Gare (Porto), Stilvoll Club (Neuss, Alemanha) e KABINET MÚZ (Brno, República Checa). Em 2022, atinge um dos pontos altos da sua carreira ao atuar no Boom Festival (The Gardens), o maior festival de música eletrónica em Portugal.
