@respirabreathe is the alias of Danish artist, producer, sound designer and DJ Markus Trige Frandsen.  
Respira creates sonic realms of free form and fluidity, exploring texture, depth, emotion and color of sound. In an effort to create authentic and organic inward experiences through the means of electronic and acoustically generated sound, he aims towards union and coherence between nature and technology. 
 
Respira’s creative output is a constantly evolving process and has partly been shaped through a vast amount of collaborative projects over the years in the field of music and sound design for other media and activities. This includes music and sound for yoga, guided meditations, audiovisual installations, poetry, performance art, animation film etc.

“What was a crucial sound experience in your life?”
When I was around 12-13 years old I discovered harsh noise music and it completely blew my mind. I was already interested in many different kinds of music at that time, but noise opened me up to a world of sound where there are no limits at all, and I remember it made me feel some kind of purpose in life. I didn’t listen or make much noise for years now, but it definitely played a huge role in how I understand and listen to music and sound today

Conceived by our dearest friend, Toufie, the project delves into the human psyche and emotions alike. He blends his love for music and his outlook on human nature to present us with a euphoric take on sounds, as carefully selected as they were created by the artists themselves. Bio:
Tadik is a Persian delicacy. Its something the family will fight over at the dinner table as there's never enough to go around. It's the most irresistible part of a daily ritual such as family dinner and in this, the most simple reminder of what makes us human. Aggression is also kindness. Darkness is also warm. Loss often means the absence of something you desire right through to your heritage. As crusty rice will tell you, beauty is not always so apparent at first sight, sometimes you have to experience it to realise why it belongs in your life forever.

A true pioneer of the Mexican Electronic scene, Carlos was involved in most major events that led to a flourishing and beautiful rave scene in the 90’s.
He was a fundamental part of the development of the Mexican rave and club scene.
Playing all the big raves, headlining all the main underground clubs and throwing his legendary parties in the mountains, right outside Mexico City.
His label InfraDigrecords is one of the longest running labels in Mexico for House and Techno.
Carlos is a dear friend of the label, our paths crossed long time ago playing together at some beautiful parties in the 90’s, 
We have always shared our love and passion for Electronic music through many roads and adventures, with endless after party rides at fairy-taled Mexican landscapes.
His mix for our series is a very special one for us, it is a journey into a passionate dj’s heart and soul, he tells a story that we are honoured and proud to share with you.
Deep diving into a diverse flow of genres and styles, futuristic, yet telling stories from the past, creating myths of places unknown.
We also share the love, passion and alluring obsession with vinyl records, his mobile shop in Mexico City “Zenfull Records” is a digging mobile oasis,

O percurso musical de Rui G. denota a sua insaciável curiosidade e dedicação à pesquisa sonora. Movido pelo desejo de explorar novos horizontes da música eletrónica, foi desenvolvendo a sua técnica com habilidade e sensibilidade, desafiando-se constantemente a construir narrativas musicais imersivas, onde cada set é uma jornada cuidadosamente tecida.

O seu fascínio pela eletrónica foi crescendo ao longo dos anos, permitindo um refinamento pessoal que culminou com a sua estréia oficial como DJ, em 2009. Nem dois anos depois, em 2011, aceita o convite para integrar o coletivo Elements, uma plataforma de renome dedicada à música eletrónica, sediada em Coimbra. Esta promotora revelou-se um marco fundamental na sua evolução artística, abrindo portas para atuar em eventos e clubes icónicos da cena eletrónica, tanto em Coimbra como no Porto. Foi ao lado de artistas que admira, como David Rodrigues, Nelson Flip, The Advent, Deepbass, Brando Lupi, Nobody Home, NTOGN, BLNDR, Antigone, Dorian Gray, Freddy K e Henning Baer, que Rui G. consolidou a sua identidade sonora.

Dedicado, curioso e ambicioso, Rui G. compromete-se a ultrapassar barreiras musicais, apurando constantemente a sua técnica, descobrindo e revelando novas nuances das paisagens sonoras que oferece ao público. Os seus sets transcendem géneros e desafiam perceções pré-concebidas, convidando o público a uma autêntica viagem sensorial, sempre surpreendente.

Nos últimos tempos, tem marcado presença em clubes de referência como o Gare (Porto), Stilvoll Club (Neuss, Alemanha) e KABINET MÚZ (Brno, República Checa). Em 2022, atinge um dos pontos altos da sua carreira ao atuar no Boom Festival (The Gardens), o maior festival de música eletrónica em Portugal.
