Music producer Chris Mueller, hailing from the vibrant electronic music hub of Berlin, delivers an enchanting sonic experience with his latest single, "Reca." Chris Mueller's musical odyssey began in 1997 when he first delved into the realm of electronic music. Over the years, he honed his craft, cultivating a distinct style that seamlessly blends genres and creates unique soundscapes. His relentless pursuit of sonic exploration led him to the tutelage of electronic music luminary Robert Babicz in 2018, where he further refined his skills and techniques, paving the way for his evolution as an artist.

Describing "Reca," Mueller explains, "The track is an exploration of conflicting emotions, expressed through a blend of powerful bass, emotional melodies, and subtle elements. It invites listeners on an intense musical voyage, where every note resonates with a myriad of feelings."

Having been on the scene for over a decade, Wehbba has actually released a ridiculous amount of music. Labels like Tronic, 82 Recordings and Systematic have acted as a home for the artist but his forthcoming work on Padley's is some of our favourite to date.

The title track does the business but fellow Brazilian ANNA has served up the remix and it's more of the excellent same we've come to expect from the chart-topping producer. ANNA's seemingly got the golden touch and when she's not climbing the Beatport charts she's getting booked all over the world.

OC & Verde - Hex

Part 2 of the Propaganda remixes picks up where the first left off. Gathering together some of the finest talent in contemporary techno, Oliver Huntemann’s killer LP from late 2017 gets more new reworks and remixes.

'Momentum' is flipped by the ever dependable André Winter, who’s deep and groovy interpretation brings new textures to the orignal and will delight fans of his previous work.

Fur Coat, the producer duo originally from Venezuela and now based in Barcelona, bring their own specific flavour to one of the album highlights, 'Egoist'. Their remix is a stripped down driving techno cut with a deeply acidic undertone.

Olivier Giacomotto, the techno producer from Bordeaux, France, provides a electro infused rework of 'Vertigo', adding sharp
808 patterns, a thick cut groove, and eventually some deep pads to his version.

'Malaria' gets the treatment by SHADED who drops his Dark Stab mix. Skyler Patrick Taugher, the Californian behind the
SHADED moniker, brings a particularly tough mix for one of Huntemann’s key tracks - a sure fire peak time winner.

Another album highlight 'Doppelgänger' is remixed by Berlin resident and Upon You boss Marco Resmann, adding layers of
dynamic rhythym with which to counterpoint his edgy pads and deep synth touches.

'Trick17' is giving a mix by Senso regular Distale. A filthy, low roller with fathoms-deep sub bass and and sparkling percussion.

The young Russian Maksim Dark adds his own interpretation of 'Poltergeist' to the release, edging up the darkness a little
more and producing a growling, tough techno workout that will go over big on a lot of floors this year.

The man from Rostock, Carlo Ruetz, provides a slick dub of 'Der schwarze Kanal’, stripping away any superfluous sounds
and setting the controls fort he heart oft he dancefloor.

Fresh off the back of another massive year, Matador storms into 2020 with a return to his imprint RUKUS.

Known for his versatility and technical dexterity, the Irish producer and techno luminary continues to impress us with his instrumental flair. Delivering club- focused productions with timeless musicality, Matador’s approach to this effortless groove is not one without deep emotion.

‘Desire’ is an irresistible roller, with scattering high hats bouncing over a bed of acid synths. An ethereal, female vocal chimes in; delicately contrasted with a slapping bass line, and driving the listener to supreme euphoria. ‘I reached back to my Matador roots for this one – tougher, faster, with melodic touches and a magnetic hook’.

Raxon lands his first richly-deserved Drumcode EP.

There’s something distinctive about the Egyptian-born artist’s productions that provoke a special response. His debut outing on Drumcode, ‘Dream Space’ soundtracked our favourite takeaway moment from Awakenings Festival in 2019, as Adam Beyer and his three daughters danced along to their mum Ida Engberg’s set, wearing smiles the size of watermelons. More recently, when Beyer played ‘Connection’ during the ‘Drumcode Indoors II’ stream from his Ibiza home, once more, his daughters sprang into dance mode, their fists striking the sky. Raxon’s music just touches you, it’s unavoidable. 

After a pair of contributions to Truesoul and ‘Dream Space’ appearing on A-Sides Vol.8 last year, his maiden Drumcode EP is perfectly timed. ‘Connection’ is catchy intergalactic techno, driven by thick wedges of bass and an irresistible lead hook. ‘Orbit’ initially takes a crunchier and more percussive tone, before rich melodic chords sprout from the darkness to add colour to the mix.
