Killer sounds from a £50 box Gwen ! A fellow last night played a couple of those little boxes .. I love BASTL stuff.

Based on the true story of an acid-fuelled breakdown one summer in the mid 1990’s. 

He never did fully recover and continues to ask the eternal question…

Recorded and processed in Live.   Effects used Live's Simple Delay, Corpus Resonant Effect, Reverb, EQ8 and Compressor. Also used Cableguys' PanCake and GlitchMachine's Fracture.

Distorted Castle

Rumblin Cynth Rampo is based on the South Glamorgan coast she describes herself as cacophonist. Working in the genres of ambient, industrial ambient and noise she explores the worlds of science, space, heavy industry and the deep dark places of earth (or any things that she fancies).

Her tracks are created using modular and hardware synths, soft synths, diy electronic noise boxes, bread-boarded temporary sound generators and effect as well as field recordings. 

Inspiration comes from the natural world, science and space.  Influences include Bach, Beethoven, Mahler, Pierre Schaeffer, Daphne Orme, Delia Derbyshire, Louis and Bebe Barron, Can, Cluster, Tangerine Dream, Hawkwind, Throbbing Gristle, to name but a few.
