this lady has an excellent voice. It is the gap in the market that has not been filled since karen carpenter left us all thos years ago and i look forward to seeing her next month. Excellent !!!!!!!!!1

Really like her music...like theyve sayd before it really reminds me of one of my favourite bands of all time, The Carpenters, though she sings like herself (which is great)not like Karen (nobody ever will). Great vintage sound, great melodies , been looking for music like this for a long time.

Rumer is the professional name of the British female singer-songwriter, Sarah Joyce (born 1979, Islamabad, Pakistan). Her stage name was inspired by the author Rumer Godden. Rumer's voice has been described by The Guardian as being reminiscent of Karen Carpenter. 

Supported by leading music industry figures including Burt Bacharach, Jools Holland and Elton John, Rumer was nominated for two Brit Awards 2011.

Her new album 'Boys Don't Cry' is due early 2012.
