We, nineteen Czech & Czechia based producers, are in unison against the aggressive occupation and invasion of a sovereign country of Ukraine. On February 24, 2022, Russian troops invaded Ukraine, masking the operation as a "peacekeeping mission”. On August 21, 1968, our country was also invaded by the Soviets and Warsaw Pact armies. The occupation lasted over four more decades.

The amount of money you send is NOT the amount of money we will receive and we can send to the people in need. However, there are a few things you can do:
1) Purchase the release during the Bandcamp Friday (March 04). Bandcamp usually cuts down 15 % revenue share, so choose this date for purchase if you want to avoid that.

With the double compilation “Infinite Summer: Ekstase & Fantasi”, katharsis celebrates the return of raves and concerts to society after a long period of pandemic shutdown. A magical summer has passed filled with an incredible pallet of emotional material, ready to be expressed. Therefore, we encouraged a collection of artists we adore to channel their imagination of the greatest way to conclude an endless summer night into a piece of music.

This resulted in a grand assemblage of harmonious manifestations, naturally splitting into two divisions with opposing focuses. On the first part of the duology “Ekstase” coming out on September 20th, we are presented with fourteen tracks for the dancefloor in an array of different styles, ranging everywhere from energetic morning vibes on the junglish opener “Origin, Gate's Dawn” by Yem Gel to hardcore sensations on Mang’s trap-infused roller “Based Halo”.

“Gathering” is a fundraising collaboration album. It is the result of what we know best; coming together around music. Entire proceeds will be sent to the organizations actively supporting those who are affected by the Earthquakes in Turkey and Syria: LGBTQ Earthquake Solidarity, Kaf Kolektif and Heyva Sor. We are grateful for the 23 musicians from 7 countries alongside 3 sound engineers and 2 visual artists who worked on this album in the spirit of solidarity. We would like to invite you to purchase the album, share it on your platforms, and play it in your sets and shows. This is a call to raise solidarity for the earthquake area, which will be needing it in years to come.

LGBTQ+ Earthquake Solidarity gathers and provides support for the LGBTQ+ community and sex workers in the affected area, transferring their resources to the people who had difficulties in housing and living even prior to the earthquake.

Kaf Kolektif is a grassroots organization currently based in the center city of the Earthquake, Kahramanmaraş. Beginning with a field kitchen, they achieved incredible unity and solidarity through the integration of the locals. The collective is building, cooking, maintaining, and organizing the area. Currently serving up to 10.000 hot meals per day, their future plans include a sustainable and innovative reconstruction in the area.

Heyva Sor A Kurdistanê is the Kurdish Red Crescent based in Germany. The organization is collecting financial and medical aid for the ones affected by the earthquake.

Gelirlerin tamamı, Türkiye ve Suriye'de yaşanan depremden etkilenenlere aktif olarak destek veren Lubunya Deprem Dayanışması, Kaf Kolektif ve Heyva Sor kuruluşlarına gönderilecek. Bu albüm için 7 ülkeden 23 müzisyenin yanı sıra 3 ses mühendisi ve 2 görsel sanatçı dayanışma ruhuyla çalıştı, onlara minnettarız. The motivating force of the album is the sudden loss of Harry’s father in 2020. Their father struggled with substance addiction and the album explores ideas of 'spirituality' and the ‘higher self’ in relation to addiction and its parallels with the coping mechanisms of grief. It also aims to highlight the importance of humour and distraction when coping with loss.

Serving as a narrative for their own experiences, the album is largely built around club-centred tracks (such as ‘Spider’ and ’Squabble’) broken up by moments of yearning and reflection in tracks like ’The Poison Garden’ and ‘Helhest (Azrael Smirks)’ and moments of dark anguish like 'Inheritor' with its heavy slab-like chords and pensive piano. Flirting with awkward and suggestive rhythms, Wright deliberately suspends moments of resolution and groove in favour of drama and jerky, unexpected cartoonish humour, taking as much influence from the likes of the Art Of Noise as Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. 

Wright rewards the listener with moments of clarity and introspection like flags on the journey, recruiting vocalist MX World to deliver lyrics and melodic ideas created by them and their father. Their father’s journals in rehab helped inform most of the lyrics. Some take whole sentences as a way to physically ‘give life’ to his words for the first time. The lyrics describe feelings, revelations and  apocalyptic hallucinations. MX World's clear, direct tone suggests folk music and the timelessness of the human condition.

The album concludes with the title track ‘Inflatable Gravestone’ which features a chorus of giddy manipulated laughter from Wright’s friends and family to a truly maddening effect. This is then resolved by bright and clear piano chords and the sound of Wright’s father breathing in his sleep. A deeply affecting and personal record with corkscrew twists and turns and a healthy dose of absurdism.
