Paul's unique sound has found a place on Modern Agenda with his latest, Closer, created in collaboration with Amber Long. His Original Mix comes just in time for summer with its smooth, housey vibe. Amber's vocals are flirty, inviting and Paul's bass acts as incentive, moving the track along. 

On remix duties, we have Ian Dillon, Robert Mason and another delightful newcomer to the label, Simos Tagias. These three are no strangers to the underground Progressive House world and each bring their own special flavor to the Original, guaranteeing something in this pack for any time of night.

Space-melodic groove of the main 'After Midnight' says pretty clearly when this needs to be played; enrolling bass with beautifully layered synthesis of melodies makes a great impression of this track.
Already familiar to us and the thousands of fans worldwide Several Definitions from Switzerland makes his remix of 'After Midnight' with a long story envelope with a flying and leftfield progressive feeling.
'Back Door' turns out to be a closing track, so saying, 'closing doors' one of the release.

Inspired by the aftermath of their critically acclaimed and widely-supported EP, Kora, Voon is back on Sweet Musique less than a year since their debut. Sitting in the weapon arsenal of some of the electronic music playfield’s heavyweights, from label heads Solomun, Rampa, Frankey & Sandrino, to well-traveled DJs Marcus Worgull, David Mayer and many more, the versatility and uniqueness of the Manfredonia-based DJ/Producer duo’s sound is apparent in how it hits speakers and encaptures dancers in venues worldwide. The coalition of former orchestra instrumentalist Giuseppe and techno music producer Vincenzo was not a surefire formula for dancefloor success but it worked, and worked up ravers, headphone partyers and music enthusiasts who simply want to drift to the course of something that was not made to make sense, but inevitably does. 
The title track Arizona starts off robust and laden and warms up when infused with percussion and a very fine trilling of synth sounds. On B-side, Lorius hitches on a hearty drumbeat on its onset as well, but dashes aggressively from dark sequences in pursuit of more luminous frequencies. The Arizona EP, Arizona and Lorius cumulatively, holds no emotions back when letting sound unfold, and places experimentation of sounds, emotions, textures and rhythm at its core. By freely letting tenderness, vulnerability and melody drive their course in an kaleidoscopic aqueduct, the duo churns a two-tracker that unfolds as a two-sided saga of frolicking earth by way of serenading land on one side, and a amaurotic surrender to cosmic pulsations and celestial rhythmus, on the other.

German based producer and Languages label boss Rikken makes a welcome return to our Progressive House Worldwide platform and this time we see him making his first steps on our deeper division, PHW Elements. With him making changes on his sound design, making more of the deeper side of progressive, we of course feel both proud and happy to see him wanting to join with us again. “Odyssey” as this production is baptized is another rare way of expressing his ideas and skills through music. It has a smooth and nice vibes, packed with superb harmonies and deeper elements that is going to be a real treat to you. We are as said more than delighted to see Rikken back in the house! 

To take this release even further and add more dimension we got to the conclusion to add on a remix from the truly talented duo of Apo Tulup. They have been on our radar for some time now and when we got the chance to hook up with them for this remix it was always a deal. We absolutely love everything on their rework, taking this track a bit more aggressive with their excellent touch that we already knew all about, they surely is here to find new fans across the globe. It’s a definite winner from start to finish. 

To round things of, we see another return from label veteran, Canada based Abe Van Dam who once again delivers something in full flare. This is a producer that is one of the most hard working guys out there and always full of ideas and a work mode that goes beyond. With his deep and dark tweaks, he once again proves his skills and way of building things up. We are of course as happy as ever to see him back in the family with this powerful, yet stripped down re-take. 

Superb work from all of you guys and a huge thanks for being major players on the label!

RELEASE NOTES:
Adam Antine & Tenthu whip up a couple of peak-time tech infused proggers for Smu[th], collectively called the Juu EP.  The title cut, 'Juu', is powerful and well articulated with funky drums, quirky melodies and subtle touches of twistedness; reminiscent of an pleasant day at the beach.  And 'When You Stand Upon Me' is a darker, more melodic and epic progger with an intelligent sprinkle of trancy dressing.

On remix duties we have top-grade versions by Anthony Ross, PROFF and Sergey Shemet.  Anthony Ross' remix of 'Juu' is a heavy and extremely powerful tech-house dancefloor destroyer.  PROFF provides a fun and whimsical electro-ish spread of wonderful prog-trance goodness.  And Sergey Shemet's remix is a nice blend of ethereal delight and dancefloor drive; lightening up the darker sounds of 'When You Stand Upon Me' into a fresh prog-trance tune.
