The Quickness

8 remixes of tracks from Rumpistol's "Drops" EP from 2017, which saw the Danish producer return to the characteristic down- and midtempo style that dominated his first two albums.

The remixers featured on this release varies from IDM & ambient pioneers like Mr. Projectile, ISAN and Rumpistol himself over beat heavy producers like Osmetic (aka Mike Wallis known for his legendary "Crunch" project with Tipper), Mindex & David Last, to talented newcomers like Noosfære and Rasmus Fisker.

Rump Recordings was founded in Copenhagen, Denmark in 2003 with an aim to release uncompromising electronic and experimental music.
However we do not attempt to focus solely on one genre but are more interested in the fields that emerge when artists start to experiment and push the existing boundaries of music.
