As I’ve grown up, I’ve learned that there’s strength in vulnerability. Being open with yourself and others gives you strength. I think it’s something men are too rarely taught. I’ve been learning by experience, but mostly I’ve been learning from the strong women around me.

This song is about that and about not running away; choosing to move forward.
